अर्थ: सत्य सबसे श्रेष्ठ और कल्याणकारी है, विशेषकर जब वह हृदय की गहराई से उपजे। बिना सत्यनिष्ठा के वास्तविक सुख की प्राप्ति असंभव है, चाहे कोई व्यक्ति करोड़ों बाहरी कर्म या दिखावे कर ले। आंतरिक ईमानदारी ही एकमात्र वास्तविक शांति का मार्ग है।

Meaning: Truth is the highest virtue and the ultimate good, especially when it resides deeply within the heart. Without genuine truthfulness, true happiness remains unattainable, regardless of how many millions of external rituals or superficial acts of piety one performs. Inner integrity is the only path to lasting peace.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि वास्तविक समझ या बोध की गति एक ही होती है, जो हर स्थान और परिस्थिति में समान रहती है। जो व्यक्ति इस परम सत्य को जान लेता है, वह हर जगह एक ही तत्व को देखता है। लेकिन जो लोग केवल बाहरी दिखावे या आधे ज्ञान में फंसे हैं, वे भ्रमित रहते हैं और एक बात को दूसरी बात से अलग बताते हैं, जबकि सत्य अविभाज्य है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the essence of true understanding is singular and universal, remaining consistent across all planes of existence. One who grasps this ultimate realization perceives the same divine unity everywhere. However, those caught in the web of partial knowledge or superficiality perceive contradictions and divisions, mistakenly claiming that one truth is different from another, whereas the Absolute is indivisible.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि विनम्रता और लघुता का भाव सबसे श्रेष्ठ है, क्योंकि इसी गुण से जीवन के सभी सकारात्मक परिवर्तन और उपलब्धियां संभव होती हैं। जिस प्रकार चंद्रमा अपनी घटती कलाओं के साथ जब छोटा (द्वितीय दिन का चंद्रमा) होता है, तब वह अत्यंत सुंदर और प्रिय लगता है और हर कोई उसे सम्मानपूर्वक देखता है, वैसे ही मनुष्य की विनम्रता उसे सबके प्रिय और पूजनीय बनाती है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that humility and the quality of being 'small' or unassuming are the most virtuous traits, as all true spiritual and worldly growth stems from this state. He uses the metaphor of the waning moon; when the moon is in its second phase (small/crescent), its beauty is most poignant and captivating, drawing the admiration of all. Similarly, a person who sheds the burden of ego and embraces humility becomes a magnet for grace and respect.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य को बार-बार चेतावनी दी गई और सत्य समझाया गया, परंतु उसने अहंकारवश उसे अनसुना कर दिया। अंततः वह स्वयं को मोह और माया के हाथों बेच बैठा। अब वह अपनी ही वासनाओं और कर्मों के बंधन से खिंचता चला जा रहा है, और उसका गंतव्य केवल दुखों का शहर यानी जमपुर (यमलोक) है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that the human soul was repeatedly warned and guided toward the truth, yet in its arrogance, it refused to understand. Consequently, the individual unwittingly sold themselves into the bondage of worldly illusions. Now, driven by their own desires and karmic debts, they are being dragged toward 'Jampur'—the city of death and suffering.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि उनके शब्द पूर्णतः सत्य और प्रमाणिक हैं, परंतु उन्हें केवल बाहरी कान से नहीं बल्कि हृदय की गहराई में उतरकर विचार करने पर ही समझा जा सकता है। उन्होंने युगों-युगों तक इस सत्य को समझाने का प्रयास किया, लेकिन लोग अपने चित्त (मन) को एकाग्र कर इसे समझने में विफल रहे क्योंकि वे केवल शब्दों के शोर में उलझे रहे, उनके मर्म में नहीं।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that his words are the absolute truth, yet they can only be grasped if one examines them through the lens of the heart. He laments that despite speaking these truths for ages, people fail to comprehend them because they do not surrender their consciousness or focus their inner mind to perceive the essence beyond the literal sounds.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि स्वर्ग और नरक की कल्पनाओं के बीच मनुष्य दो विपरीत विचारधाराओं या द्वंद्वों में फंसा हुआ है। छह अलग-अलग दर्शन और लाखों सिद्ध पुरुष भी इस सत्य के संशय को नहीं मिटा पाए हैं, और चौरासी लाख योनियों का चक्र इसी भ्रम के कारण निरंतर चलता रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that between the imagined realms of heaven and hell, humanity is trapped between two conflicting poles of perception. Even the six classical schools of philosophy and countless realized beings remain entangled in doubt, while the cycle of eighty-four thousand species continues due to this fundamental ignorance of the Self.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि संसार की माया और मोह एक ऐसी नदी की तरह है जिसका प्रवाह निरंतर है। जिस प्रकार सांप और बिच्छू के जहर को उतारने के लिए मंत्रों का सहारा लिया जाता है, वैसे ही इस संसार के मोह-जाल से निकलने के लिए ज्ञान की आवश्यकता है। जब मोह की यह नदी इतनी वेगवती है, तो मनुष्य अपने अस्थिर पैरों से इसमें कहाँ टिक सकता है?

Meaning: Kabir posits that the worldly attachment and delusion (Maya) are akin to a relentless, rushing river. Just as specific mantras are used to neutralize the venom of snakes and scorpions, spiritual wisdom is required to counteract the poison of attachment. In the face of such an overwhelming current of desire, where can the fragile human foot find a stable footing?

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य ने अपनी बुद्धि को अत्यंत चतुर और चालाकी से भरा हुआ बना लिया है, जिससे वह स्वयं को एक कुशल चोर या धोखेबाज समझता है। वह इस बाहरी दुनिया की माया और भौतिक सुखों की खोज में पूरी दुनिया छान मारता है, लेकिन अंततः उसे कहीं भी वास्तविक शांति या सत्य का ठिकाना नहीं मिलता।

Meaning: Kabir observes that humans have cultivated a clever, calculating intellect, transforming themselves into sophisticated thieves of their own peace. In a relentless pursuit of worldly desires and external validations, they scour the entire universe, yet they find no permanent sanctuary or ultimate truth because they are searching in the wrong direction.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जैसे सावन के महीने में आसमान से समान रूप से वर्षा की बूंदें गिरती हैं, वैसे ही ईश्वर की कृपा सबके लिए उपलब्ध है। लेकिन विडंबना यह है कि पूरी दुनिया बाहरी धार्मिक पहचान (जैसे वैष्णव बनना) अपनाने में व्यस्त है, जबकि वास्तविक आध्यात्मिक मार्गदर्शन देने वाले गुरु की वाणी को सुनने और आत्मसात करने की इच्छा किसी में नहीं है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that just as the monsoon rains fall impartially from the sky upon everyone, Divine grace is universally available. However, he laments that while the entire world is preoccupied with adopting outward religious labels—such as becoming a 'Vaishnav' or a formal devotee—hardly anyone possesses the genuine will to listen to and embody the transformative instructions of a true spiritual master.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो व्यक्ति विवेकहीन और आध्यात्मिक रूप से अंधा है, वह सज्जन और दुष्ट के बीच का अंतर नहीं पहचान पाता। बिना वास्तविक परख और आत्म-चिंतन के, वह धोखे को सहता रहता है और सत्य को पहचानने में असमर्थ रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that an individual devoid of spiritual discernment and clouded by ignorance cannot distinguish between a true saint and a deceptive thief. Without the capacity for critical inquiry and inner verification, one suffers under illusion, unable to separate the genuine from the counterfeit.
