Famous Kabir Dohe on Reincarnation — पुनर्जन्म पर कबीर के प्रसिद्ध दोहे

आत्मा एक शरीर छोड़कर दूसरा शरीर धारण करती है, जब तक उसे मोक्ष प्राप्त नहीं होता। (The soul leaves one body and takes another until it attains liberation.)

For Kabir, this life is one station in a longer journey. Sant Kabir Das spoke of the soul passing through countless births — sometimes rich, sometimes poor, sometimes honoured, sometimes despised — until it learns what the world is meant to teach. His dohas on punarjanma see death not as an end but as a doorway, and the body not as the soul's home but its garment.

Kabir's teaching on rebirth is not morbid; it is urgent. Because no one knows which breath will be the last, he argues, the wise use this life to settle what only a lifetime can settle. The soul that wakes to God here does not need to be born again.
