अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि यह मानव शरीर अत्यंत क्षणभंगुर है और समय की धारा में पल भर में नष्ट हो सकता है। वे प्रश्न करते हैं कि जब शरीर मिट्टी के कच्चे बर्तन जैसा है, जिसमें पानी (जीवन) भरा है, तो हम इस नश्वरता को भुलाकर कैसे अहंकार में डूबे रह सकते हैं?

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the human body is ephemeral, vanishing in the blink of an eye within the relentless flow of time. He poses a poignant question: if the body is like an unbaked clay pot holding water, how can we remain oblivious to its fragility and cling to the illusions of permanence?

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यदि व्यक्ति का अहंकार और अज्ञान का सिर नहीं कटा, तो वह आध्यात्मिक मुक्ति या वास्तविक ज्ञान प्राप्त नहीं कर सकता। केवल पंडितों की पोथियों को दिन-रात रटने या पढ़ने से सत्य की प्राप्ति नहीं होती, क्योंकि किताबी ज्ञान बिना आत्म-अनुभव के व्यर्थ है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that unless the 'head' of ego and ignorance is severed, one cannot attain spiritual liberation or true realization. Merely reciting or studying the scriptures of scholars day and night is futile, as bookish knowledge remains empty without the direct experience of the Divine within.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब मनुष्य अपने अहंकार (आपा) का त्याग कर परमात्मा की शरण में जाता है और अपने शरीर के रोम-रोम (नख से सिखर) से विकारों और अशुद्धियों को मिटा देता है, तब वह सांसारिक मोह-माया से मुक्त हो जाता है। यही वास्तविक साधुता और जीवन का सार है।

Meaning: Kabir teaches that when a human relinquishes the ego (Aapa) and turns toward the Divine, purging every atom of their being—from the nails to the crown of the head—of all impurities and vices, they transcend the entanglements of worldly existence. अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि इस जीवन में ही अपनी आध्यात्मिक तैयारी और संचय कर लो, क्योंकि आगे का मार्ग सांसारिक इच्छाओं और मोह-माया के बंधनों से भरा है। लोग स्वर्ग की खोज में भटक रहे हैं, लेकिन वह स्वर्ग एक भ्रम है क्योंकि वहां कोई सांसारिक बाजार या लेन-देन नहीं होता; वास्तविक शांति केवल आंतरिक जागरण में है।

Meaning: Kabir advises making one's spiritual preparations and gathering inner wealth in this very life, for the path ahead is fraught with sensory attachments and worldly desires. While crowds chase the illusion of a celestial paradise, he warns that such a place is devoid of the worldly commerce and ego-driven exchanges that define human existence; true liberation is found within.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह संसार केवल बाहरी दिखावे और व्यर्थ की खोज में लगा हुआ है। लोग जिसे योग या आध्यात्मिक साधना समझ रहे हैं, वह वास्तव में केवल इंद्रिय सुखों का एक सूक्ष्म रूप है। जहाँ दुनिया केवल तिनकों और कचरे को झाड़ रही है, वहीं कबीर ने उस सूक्ष्म तिल (सत्य) को खोज निकाला है जो वास्तव में मूल्यवान है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that the world is preoccupied with superficial cleaning and futile pursuits. What people mistake for spiritual discipline (Yoga) is often just another form of sensory indulgence. While the masses waste their energy sweeping away useless chaff and straws, Kabir has successfully extracted the precious sesame seed—the essence of Truth—from the husk of existence.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the human mind is inherently restless, acting as a thief that steals one's awareness and a master deceiver that lures the soul into illusion. Even celestial beings, humans, and enlightened sages struggle with this internal chaos, for the mind possesses countless gateways through which endless desires and distractions flow, trapping the seeker in a cycle of mental noise.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह माया एक ऐसी चूहदानी (पिंजरे) के समान है जिसमें मनुष्य रूपी चूहे फंसे हुए हैं। इस मोह-माया के जाल में पिता, पुत्र और समस्त संबंधी इस कदर उलझ गए हैं कि वे वास्तविक सत्य और परमात्मा से पूरी तरह कट चुके हैं, और अंततः अकेले ही रह जाते हैं।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that Maya (the cosmic illusion) is like a rat-trap, and human beings are the rats caught within it. Bound by the attachments of family, such as fathers and sons, people become so entangled in worldly bonds that they lose sight of the Eternal Truth, eventually discovering that in the final reckoning, no one truly accompanies the soul.
