अर्थ: कबीर यहाँ बाहरी सुंदरता और आंतरिक पवित्रता के बीच के अंतर को स्पष्ट कर रहे हैं। वे कहते हैं कि एक ऐसी स्त्री जो अपने धर्म और सत्य के प्रति समर्पित है, भले ही वह बाहरी रूप से मैली, काली या कुरूप दिखाई दे, उसकी वह आंतरिक आभा और आध्यात्मिक सुंदरता करोड़ों भौतिक सुंदर चेहरों से कहीं अधिक मूल्यवान है।

Meaning: Kabir emphasizes the profound contrast between superficial physical beauty and internal spiritual purity. He asserts that a soul devoted to Truth and righteousness, even if they appear physically soiled, dark, or unattractive to the world, possesses an inner radiance that far outweighs the value of millions of conventionally beautiful faces.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि चिकित्सक मर गया, रोगी मर गया और यह संपूर्ण संसार नश्वरता की गोद में सो गया। केवल वह कबीर जीवित है जिसने उस अविनाशी, निराकार राम को अपना आधार बना लिया है, क्योंकि जो सत्य से जुड़ा है वह मृत्यु के चक्र से मुक्त हो जाता है।

One who transcends these boundaries to seek the infinite is a spiritual seeker. However, the one who relinquishes the duality of both the limited and the limitless attains a state of profound, unfathomable spiritual immersion.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि जो व्यक्ति शीलवान (चरित्रवान और विनम्र) है, वह संसार में सबसे महान है। शील वह अनमोल खजाना है जिसमें दुनिया के सभी रत्नों का सार समाया हुआ है। तीनों लोकों की समस्त संपत्ति और वैभव उस व्यक्ति की विनम्रता और सदाचार के सामने तुच्छ हैं; वास्तविक समृद्धि केवल शील में ही निहित है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that a person of 'Sheel' (virtuous character and humility) is the greatest of all. Such a person is like a mine of all precious gems. The combined wealth and opulence of the three realms—heaven, earth, and the underworld—pale in comparison to the dignity and grace found in a virtuous character; true abundance resides solely in one's moral integrity.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य का जन्म अत्यंत दुर्लभ है और यह शरीर बार-बार नहीं मिलता। जिस प्रकार वृक्ष से एक बार पत्ता गिर जाए, तो वह दोबारा कभी उस डाली से नहीं जुड़ता, उसी प्रकार मृत्यु के पश्चात यह भौतिक शरीर पुनः प्राप्त करना अत्यंत कठिन है, अतः इस अवसर को व्यर्थ न गंवाएं।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that human birth is an exceedingly rare opportunity and this physical form is not granted repeatedly. Just as a leaf, once fallen from a tree, can never reattach itself to the branch, the human body, once lost to death, is not easily regained; therefore, one must not squander this precious moment of existence.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि बाहरी माला फेरना केवल एक सांसारिक दिखावा और भिक्षा माँगने जैसा है। यदि केवल मनका फेरने से ईश्वर मिलते, तो कुएं की रहट (घिरनी) जो दिन भर गोल घूमती रहती है, उसे तो बहुत पहले ही मोक्ष प्राप्त हो गया होता। वास्तविक भक्ति बाहरी कर्मकांडों में नहीं, बल्कि आंतरिक चेतना के रूपांतरण में है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the act of rotating prayer beads is often a mere worldly performance, akin to begging for spiritual merit. He argues that if the mechanical repetition of beads were the key to finding the Divine, the leather strap of a well-pulley (rahat), which rotates incessantly, would have attained liberation long ago. True devotion lies not in external rituals, but in the internal transformation of consciousness.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिस व्यक्ति के जीवन में कोई नैतिक बंधन या आत्म-अनुशासन नहीं है और जिसके हृदय में सत्य का वास नहीं है, उसके साथ संबंध नहीं रखना चाहिए। ऐसा व्यक्ति कांच के उस बर्तन की तरह है जो बाहर से चमकता तो है, लेकिन अंदर से खाली है और जरा सी चोट लगते ही बिखर जाता है, जिससे केवल नुकसान होता है।

Meaning: Kabir warns that one should avoid the company of those who lack moral restraints and possess no truth within their hearts. Such a person is likened to a hollow glass vessel—seemingly bright and attractive on the surface, but devoid of substance and prone to shattering, leaving behind only shards of disappointment and pain.
