सहज योग (Natural Path) — Kabir Dohas

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो व्यक्ति सांसारिक सीमाओं और सामाजिक बंधनों के भीतर जीता है, वह साधारण मनुष्य है। जो इन सीमाओं को पार कर आध्यात्मिक मार्ग पर चलता है, वह साधक है। परंतु, जो व्यक्ति सीमा और असीम, दोनों के द्वंद्व और अहंकार को त्याग देता है, उसकी आध्यात्मिक अवस्था अत्यंत गहन और अनंत हो जाती है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that one who operates within the confines of worldly limitations and social conditioning is an ordinary human. One who transcends these boundaries to seek the infinite is a spiritual seeker. However, the one who relinquishes the duality of both the limited and the limitless attains a state of profound, unfathomable spiritual immersion.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिस प्रकार एक पौधे को जलमग्न भूमि में रोपा जाता है और उसे फलित होने के लिए सौ बार सींचना पड़ता है, उसी प्रकार आत्मा को इस संसार रूपी माया में रोपा गया है। जब तक मनुष्य इस संसार के मोह और अज्ञान को पूरी तरह नहीं त्यागता, तब तक वह उस परम सत्य का अनुभव नहीं कर सकता, क्योंकि विचार और मोह की बाधाएं उसे सत्य से दूर रखती हैं।

Meaning: Kabir explains that just as a seedling planted in water-logged soil requires a hundred waterings to eventually bloom, the human soul is planted within the soil of this material existence. He suggests that until one transcends the attachments of the world and the clutter of the mind, the realization of the Divine remains elusive, as the persistent cycle of worldly thought and desire obscures the inner light.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि शरीर को साधु बनाना या बाहरी वेशभूषा धारण करना बहुत आसान है और बहुत से लोग ऐसा करते हैं, लेकिन अपने मन को वश में करना और उसे आध्यात्मिक रूप से जागृत करना अत्यंत कठिन है, जिसे बहुत कम लोग प्राप्त कर पाते हैं। जो व्यक्ति वास्तव में मन से योगी बन जाता है, वह सहजता से जीवन के सभी सत्य और आध्यात्मिक उपलब्धियों को प्राप्त कर लेता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that while many people adopt the outward appearance of a renunciant—wearing saffron robes or abandoning worldly comforts—very few manage to discipline and transform the inner mind. True spiritual mastery lies not in physical austerity but in mental alchemy. One who achieves 'Man Yogi' (a yogi of the mind) attains all spiritual goals and universal truths effortlessly and naturally.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब हम उस परम सत्य या परमात्मा की अवस्था में पहुँचेंगे और उस अनंत चेतना में विलीन होंगे, तभी हम उस अनुभव की वास्तविक व्याख्या कर पाएंगे। वर्तमान में, हम केवल इस संसार रूपी सागर की लहरों में उलझे हुए हैं; जब तक हम किनारे तक नहीं पहुँचते, हमारी बातें केवल शब्दों का खेल हैं और उनमें कोई वास्तविक अनुभव या सत्य नहीं है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that only upon reaching the ultimate state of Truth or the Divine, and merging into that infinite consciousness, can one truly describe the experience. Currently, we are merely adrift in the turbulent ocean of this material world; until we reach the shore of realization, our claims and words are empty, lacking the weight of actual spiritual attainment.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि आध्यात्मिक मार्ग पर चलने वाले सच्चे साधक किसी बाहरी समूह, सामाजिक संगठन या दिखावटी भीड़ का हिस्सा नहीं होते। वे किसी सांसारिक व्यवस्था या बाहरी सहारे के मोहताज नहीं हैं, क्योंकि सत्य का मार्ग एकांत और आंतरिक शुद्धि का है, न कि सामूहिक प्रदर्शन का।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that true spiritual seekers do not belong to any outward group, social organization, or superficial crowd. They are not dependent on worldly structures or external supports, for the path to Truth is one of solitude and internal purification, rather than collective exhibitionism.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब मनुष्य अपने मन की दुविधा और द्वंद्व को समाप्त कर देता है, तब वह सत्य के साथ एकाकार हो जाता है। संसार में हम जिसे शीतलता और तपिश के रूप में अलग-अलग अनुभव करते हैं, वास्तव में वे दोनों एक ही ऊर्जा या अग्नि के विभिन्न रूप हैं।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that once a seeker eradicates the duality and inner conflict of the mind, they merge into a singular essence. He suggests that what we perceive as contrasting forces—such as coolness and intense heat—are actually manifestations of the same primordial fire or energy.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि वास्तविक ज्ञान तब प्राप्त होता है जब मन पूरी तरह शांत और संतुलित हो जाए। जब व्यक्ति बाहरी दिखावे और मानसिक पक्षपात को त्यागकर निष्पक्ष हो जाता है, तब वह उस परम सत्य को अनुभव करता है जिसे शब्दों की सीमाओं में नहीं बांधा जा सकता।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that true realization dawns only when the mind attains a state of absolute equilibrium and stillness. When one sheds all external pretenses and internal biases to remain truly impartial, they experience the Ultimate Truth that transcends the limitations of linguistic description.

अर्थ: यह दोहा गुरु के आंतरिक ज्ञान के भंडार और चेतना की एकाग्रता के महत्व को दर्शाता है। कबीर कहते हैं कि जब साधक अपनी सुरति (चेतना) को गुरु द्वारा निर्देशित मार्ग पर केंद्रित करता है, तब वह उस गुप्त कोष को प्राप्त करता है। शब्द या बाहरी शोर क्षणभंगुर है, जो आता और जाता रहता है, जबकि वास्तविक सत्य स्थिर और आंतरिक है।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि गुरु का ज्ञान एक ऐसी तलवार (खांडा) की तरह है जो अहंकार के भ्रम को काट देता है। जब साधक शब्द (दिव्य ध्वनि या ज्ञान) के कठोर प्रहारों को धैर्यपूर्वक सहन करता है और उसके सम्मुख समर्पित रहता है, तभी एक बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति का मस्तक वास्तव में प्रबुद्ध और शुद्ध होता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the Guru's wisdom acts as a sharp sword (Khanda) that severs the illusions of the ego.
