अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि वह परमात्मा जिसने इस जीवन रूपी अग्नि को हमारे भीतर प्रज्वलित किया, वही इसे वापस ले जाने वाला भी है। हम उस ईश्वर के आभारी हैं जिसने हमें यह जीवन दिया, क्योंकि अंततः वह हमें इस संसार के दुखों और मोह-माया की अग्नि से मुक्त कर लेगा, भले ही इस प्रक्रिया में हमारा अहंकार और सांसारिक अस्तित्व पूरी तरह नष्ट हो जाए।

Meaning: The Divine is like a priceless diamond, and the true seeker is the expert jeweler who knows its worth. Although the presence of the Divine is spread across the marketplace of this world for everyone to see, only the one who has cultivated spiritual discernment can recognize its true value and establish a genuine connection with it.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यदि आप एक सांप को दूध पिलाते हैं, तो वह दूध को भी जहर में बदल देता है क्योंकि उसका स्वभाव ही विषैला है। इसी प्रकार, संसार में ऐसे दुर्लभ लोग होते हैं जो दूसरों के द्वारा दिए गए जहर (अपमान या द्वेष) को भी पीकर उसे अमृत या प्रेम में बदल देते हैं, जो कि एक अत्यंत उच्च आध्यात्मिक अवस्था है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that if one feeds milk to a snake, the snake transforms that nourishing milk into poison because it is the snake's inherent nature.
