अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यदि ईश्वर को पाने के लिए मुझे फटे-पुराने कपड़े पहनने पड़ें या फिर रेशमी वस्त्र धारण करने पड़ें, तो मैं वह सब करने को तैयार हूँ। यदि ईश्वर किसी भी विशेष वेशभूषा या बाहरी रूप में मिलते हैं, तो मैं उस रूप को धारण कर लूँगा क्योंकि मेरा एकमात्र लक्ष्य परमात्मा का मिलन है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that if attaining the Divine requires wearing tattered rags or donning the finest silks, he is willing to do both. Meaning: When the seeker attains the Ultimate Truth, an innate and boundless bliss arises within. The heart, once a turbulent river of longing and void, becomes overflowing with divine fulfillment. Upon the direct realization of the Eternal Presence (the Beloved/Sai), all accumulated sins and spiritual impurities dissolve effortlessly, leaving only purity.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो हमारे कर्मों का लेखा-जोखा नियति या ईश्वर द्वारा निर्धारित किया जा चुका है, उसे अब बदला नहीं जा सकता। जिस प्रकार एक सटीक माप में न तो एक मासा कम होता है और न ही एक तिल बढ़ता है, वैसे ही प्रारब्ध का फल अटल है, चाहे मनुष्य उसे बदलने के लिए करोड़ों उपाय क्यों न कर ले।
