अर्थ: सच्चा परोपकारी वह है जिसका स्वभाव और व्यक्तित्व पूर्णतः शांत और शीतल है। ऐसा व्यक्ति दूसरों के दुखों और मानसिक कष्टों की अग्नि को शांत करता है और उन्हें अपने प्रेम, शांति और आध्यात्मिक आनंद के रंग में रंग देता है।

Meaning: A truly altruistic person is one whose very being is imbued with coolness and serenity. Such an individual possesses the power to extinguish the fires of suffering and agitation in others, transforming their turmoil into the vibrant hue of peace and divine love.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि प्रेमपूर्वक साधु-संतों को भोजन कराएं और उनकी सेवा करें। यदि मनुष्य इस संसार में रहते हुए ऐसा परोपकारी और निस्वार्थ जीवन जीता है, तो अंततः वह मोक्ष या परम पद की प्राप्ति करता है।

When a seeker eradicates the duality of enmity and hatred from their heart, the true knowledge of forgiveness and truth manifests. अर्थ: एक सच्चा साधक या संत अपनी आंतरिक शांति और पवित्रता का मार्ग कभी नहीं छोड़ता, चाहे उसके चारों ओर लाखों अधर्मी या नकारात्मक लोग क्यों न हों। जिस प्रकार चंदन के वन (मलय) में रहने वाले सांपों को चंदन की सुगंध और शीतलता प्रभावित नहीं करती और वे अपना विषैला स्वभाव नहीं छोड़ते, उसी प्रकार एक दृढ़ संन्यासी अपनी सहज प्रकृति और आध्यात्मिक स्थिरता को बाहरी शोर और विकृतियों के बीच भी सुरक्षित रखता है।

Meaning: A true seeker or saint never abandons their inner peace and spiritual integrity, even when surrounded by millions of the ignorant or malevolent. Just as the serpents dwelling in the sandalwood forests of Malaya are permeated by the fragrance and coolness of the wood yet never relinquish their innate venomous nature, a steadfast soul maintains their inherent spiritual stability and purity regardless of the chaotic or corrupting influences of the external world.

Meaning: When a seeker cultivates absolute equanimity and patience within and immerses their consciousness entirely in the selfless service of the Guru, they become eligible to receive the Master's command and venture forth into other realms—be they physical lands or deeper internal dimensions of consciousness.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी यहाँ दान और उदारता के तीन स्तरों का वर्णन कर रहे हैं। श्रेष्ठ व्यक्ति वह है जो बिना मांगे ही दूसरों की आवश्यकता को समझकर सहायता करता है। मध्यम वह है जो मांगने पर दान देता है, और सबसे निम्न वह है जो दूसरों की सहायता करने के बजाय उन्हें और अधिक कष्ट देता है या उनके हिस्से का हक छीन लेता है।
