अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब जीवन में सुख और समृद्धि होती है, तब हमारे चारों ओर मित्रों और शुभचिंतकों की भीड़ लगी रहती है। लेकिन जब वास्तविक संकट या विपत्ति आती है, तो जो व्यक्ति निस्वार्थ भाव से साथ खड़ा रहकर दुख साझा करता है, वह लाखों में एक होता है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that during times of prosperity and joy, one is surrounded by countless friends and well-wishers. However, when true adversity strikes, the person who remains steadfast and shares the burden of sorrow is a rare soul, found perhaps only once in a million.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो प्रेम क्षण भर में बढ़ता है और अगले ही पल घट जाता है, वह वास्तविक प्रेम नहीं बल्कि एक मानसिक लहर है। सच्चा प्रेम वह है जो आत्मा के गहरे केंद्र में, शरीर रूपी पिंजरे के भीतर, एक अडिग और निरंतर प्रवाह की तरह स्थित रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that love which fluctuates—rising one moment and falling the next—is not true love but a mere emotional ripple. Genuine love is that which resides in the deepest depths of the soul's vessel, remaining steady and eternal within the cage of the physical body.

अर्थ: जब तक मनुष्य के भीतर अहंकार या 'मैं' का भाव विद्यमान रहता है, तब तक उसे ईश्वर या परम सत्य का अनुभव नहीं होता। जैसे ही अहंकार का विनाश होता है, परमात्मा का साक्षात्कार होता है। प्रेम का मार्ग इतना संकीर्ण है कि इसमें अहंकार और ईश्वर दोनों एक साथ नहीं रह सकते।

Meaning: As long as the ego, the sense of 'I', persists within a human being, the experience of the Divine or Absolute Truth remains absent. The moment the ego is annihilated, the Divine is realized. The path of love is so narrow that it cannot accommodate both the ego and the Divine simultaneously.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह प्रेम का मार्ग या ईश्वर का घर कोई साधारण स्थान नहीं है जहाँ कोई भी बिना तैयारी के प्रवेश कर सके। यहाँ प्रवेश करने के लिए अपने अहंकार का पूर्ण त्याग करना आवश्यक है। जब तक मनुष्य अपने 'मैं' या गर्व को पूरी तरह समाप्त कर जमीन पर नहीं रख देता, वह इस दिव्य प्रेम के घर में प्रवेश नहीं कर सकता।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the abode of Divine Love is not a common place or a casual gathering where one can enter without preparation. To enter this sacred space, one must completely surrender their ego. Only when a seeker figuratively removes their head—the seat of pride—and places it upon the ground, can they truly enter the home of Love.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिसने समुद्र की गहराइयों में डुबकी लगाई, वही कीमती मोती खोज कर लाया। जो व्यक्ति केवल किनारे पर बैठकर लहरों को देखता रहा, वह कभी भी उन अनमोल रत्नों को प्राप्त नहीं कर सकता। आध्यात्मिक सत्य केवल अनुभव से मिलता है, चर्चा से नहीं।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that only the one who dared to dive deep into the ocean of existence managed to retrieve the precious pearls. Those who remained seated safely on the shore, merely observing the waves, can never attain those priceless treasures. Spiritual truth is realized through direct experience, not through theoretical discussion.

अर्थ: कबीर यहाँ आत्मा को एक भौंरे के रूप में देखते हैं जिसे चेतावनी दी गई है कि वह बाहरी दुनिया के सुगंधित फूलों और सांसारिक आकर्षणों के पीछे न भागे। यदि वह इस मायावी जाल में फंस गया, तो वह अंततः विरह और तड़प में अपना जीवन व्यर्थ कर देगा, क्योंकि बाहरी सुख क्षणभंगुर हैं।

Meaning: Kabir addresses the soul as a bumblebee, warning it against chasing the fleeting fragrances of the material world. He suggests that seeking fulfillment in external sensory pleasures is a trap; once entangled in the vines of attachment, the soul will suffer endless longing and agony, wasting its existence in a cycle of desire and disappointment.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह संसार एक बाज़ार की तरह है जहाँ हम केवल अस्थायी रूप से आए हैं। हमारा असली घर कहीं और है। हमें अपने सांसारिक कर्मों और मोह-माया के व्यापार को यहीं समाप्त कर, अपनी आत्मा की वास्तविक यात्रा पर निकलना चाहिए।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that this world is akin to a marketplace where we are merely transient visitors. Our true home lies elsewhere. We must settle our worldly accounts, relinquish the attachments of karma and desire, and embark upon the journey back to our eternal source.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि किसान ने अपने खेत में कड़ी मेहनत से फसल उगाई, लेकिन जंगली जानवरों ने उसे चर लिया। बेचारा खेत तो कुछ नहीं कर सकता, क्योंकि उसकी रक्षा करना मालिक (किसान) की जिम्मेदारी है, परंतु यदि मालिक ही लापरवाह हो या बचाव का प्रयास न करे, तो फसल का नष्ट होना निश्चित है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that a farmer tills his land with great effort, yet wild animals graze upon the crop. The field itself is helpless and cannot protect itself; the responsibility lies solely with the owner. If the master remains indifferent or fails to guard the harvest, the loss is inevitable.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह भौतिक संसार सेंमल के फूल की तरह है, जो देखने में अत्यंत आकर्षक और सुंदर लगता है, परंतु वास्तव में उसमें कोई फल या सुगंध नहीं होती। इस दुनिया का आकर्षण क्षणभंगुर है; कुछ ही दिनों के व्यवहार और समय के बीतने के साथ इसका झूठा रंग उतर जाता है और केवल रिक्तता शेष रह जाती है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that this material world is akin to the flower of the silk-cotton tree (Semal), which appears strikingly beautiful and alluring to the eye, yet possesses neither fragrance nor fruit. The attractions of this world are ephemeral; within a short span of time and experience, the deceptive colors fade away, leaving behind only a hollow void.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि यदि तुम्हें ईश्वर का स्मरण करना है, तो इसी क्षण करो। यदि तुम इसे कल पर टालते रहे, तो वह समय कभी नहीं आएगा। जिस प्रकार हरे-भरे वृक्ष समय आने पर सूख जाते हैं और अंततः जलाकर ईंधन बन जाते हैं, उसी प्रकार मानव जीवन की ऊर्जा और समय भी समाप्त हो जाते हैं, जिससे आध्यात्मिक प्रयास असंभव हो जाते हैं।

Meaning: Kabir urges the seeker to remember the Divine immediately, warning against the peril of procrastination. He posits that if one does not seek the Truth now, the opportunity may never return. Just as lush green trees eventually wither and are reduced to dry firewood for burning, the vitality of human life fades, leaving one unable to perform the spiritual labor required for liberation.
