अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि सांसारिक मोह-माया और दुनियादारी की गहरी दोस्ती आध्यात्मिक साधना और ईश्वर के भजन में बाधा डालती है। सच्चा संतोष और शांति केवल उस एक निराकार राम के साथ एकांत में जुड़ने से या फिर उन सच्चे साधुओं के साथ रहने से मिलती है जिन्होंने वास्तव में सत्य को पा लिया है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that deep attachments and friendships rooted in worldly desires create disruptions in one's spiritual practice and devotion. True peace and fulfillment are found only through an exclusive, intimate union with the one formless Divine (Ram) or by associating with realized souls who have transcended the illusions of the material world.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह भौतिक शरीर नश्वर है और एक दिन नष्ट हो जाएगा। यदि तुम अपनी आत्मा को किसी स्थायी आधार या आध्यात्मिक ठिकाने पर टिकाना चाहते हो, तो संतों की निस्वार्थ सेवा करो और अपने गुरु के गुणों का गान करो, जिससे अहंकार का अंत हो और मोक्ष का मार्ग प्रशस्त हो।

Meaning: Kabir reminds us that the physical body is transient and destined for decay. If you wish to anchor your consciousness to a permanent spiritual foundation, engage in the selfless service of the realized souls and contemplate the virtues of the Guru, thereby dissolving the ego to attain liberation.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह वर्तमान क्षण, जो आज हमारे पास है, कल नहीं रहेगा। समय निरंतर बह रहा है और मृत्यु निश्चित है। यदि तुम जागृत हो सकते हो और सत्य को पहचान सकते हो, तो अभी कर लो, क्योंकि अन्यथा यह जीवन का अवसर केवल एक धुंधले सपने की तरह ओझल हो जाएगा।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the present day we possess today will not exist tomorrow. Time is an unrelenting flow and death is an absolute certainty. If you have the capacity to awaken and realize the ultimate truth, do so now, for otherwise, this opportunity of life will vanish like a fleeting, blurred dream.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि इस संसार में अधिकांश मनुष्य विवेकशून्य और अज्ञानी हैं। उन्होंने उस वास्तविक 'राम' (परमात्मा) के नाम और स्वरूप को नहीं पहचाना, जिसके कारण वे जीवन भर दुखों, अभावों और आध्यात्मिक दरिद्रता के चक्र में फंसे रहते हैं।

Meaning: Kabir observes that a vast majority of people in this world are devoid of true spiritual intelligence. Having failed to recognize the essence of the Divine Name (Ram), they remain trapped in a cycle of suffering, misery, and spiritual poverty throughout their existence.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब तक मनुष्य 'मैं' और 'मेरा' के अहंकार में लिप्त रहता है, तब तक उसकी आध्यात्मिक उन्नति की जड़ें नष्ट रहती हैं। यह मोह और स्वामित्व की भावना ही उसके पैरों में बेड़ी और गले में फांसी के फंदे के समान है, जो उसे मुक्ति से दूर रखती है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that as long as a human clings to the ego of 'I' and 'Mine', the very root of their spiritual existence remains destroyed. This obsessive attachment to ownership and identity acts as a shackle upon the feet and a noose around the neck, trapping the soul in the cycle of suffering.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य ने सांसारिक मोह-माया और रिश्तों की ऐसी माला पहन ली है जो वास्तव में एक बंधन है। वे प्रश्न करते हैं कि जब परमात्मा का नाम ही एकमात्र सच्चा आधार और सहारा है, तो मनुष्य व्यर्थ के सांसारिक बंधनों में क्यों जकड़ा रहता है?

Meaning: Kabir observes that humans have adorned themselves with the jewelry of worldly attachments, which in reality acts as a shackle around the neck. He questions why one remains bound by these fleeting illusions when the Divine Name is the only eternal and unwavering foundation of existence.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यदि तुम सांसारिक मोह-माया के जाल में फंसे हुए हो, तो इस अज्ञानता के अंधेरे से बाहर कैसे निकलोगे? तुम माया के नशे में चूर हो, इसलिए अपनी बुद्धि को मत खोओ और इस भ्रम को पहचानो कि यह सब क्षणभंगुर है।

Meaning: Kabir asks: if you remain trapped in the snare of worldly attachments, when will you emerge from this spiritual blindness? You are intoxicated by the illusion of Maya; do not let your intellect fade into stupidity by forgetting the eternal truth of your existence.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी पूछते हैं कि मनुष्य जीवन भर किन व्यर्थ की वस्तुओं को संचित करने में लगा रहता है, जबकि अंततः उसे सब कुछ त्यागना पड़ता है। वे चेतावनी देते हैं कि मृत्यु के समय शरीर, घर, धन और साम्राज्य—सब यहीं छूट जाते हैं, केवल आत्मा का सत्य साथ रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir questions the futility of human accumulation and the endless pursuit of material security. He reminds us that at the inevitable moment of departure, everything we have spent our lives gathering—our physical body, our homes, our wealth, and our social status—is left behind, proving the transience of worldly attachments.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य एक छोटी सी भौतिक इच्छा या एक क्षणिक मोह के कारण पूरे जीवन भर दुखी रहता है और संसार के मायाजाल में फँसा रहता है, जबकि अनगिनत आध्यात्मिक अवसर और सत्य की बूंदें उसके पास से चुपचाप गुजर जाती हैं और वह उन पर ध्यान नहीं देता।

Meaning: Kabir observes that humanity weeps and suffers for the sake of a single drop—a tiny, fleeting worldly desire or attachment—while countless other drops of divine truth and spiritual liberation pass by unnoticed and unvalued, leaving the soul in a state of perpetual longing and ignorance.

अर्थ: संसार के लोग निरंतर मृत्यु के भय से ग्रस्त हैं और अपनी विपत्तियों के अंत की प्रार्थना करते हैं। किंतु कबीर कहते हैं कि जिस 'अहंकार' रूपी झूठे व्यक्तित्व को मरना था, वह ज्ञान के प्रकाश में पहले ही मर चुका है। अब जो शेष है, वह अविनाशी आत्मा है, जिसकी मृत्यु संभव नहीं है।

Meaning: The world is consumed by the fear of death, praying for their misfortunes to end. However, Kabir asserts that the 'false ego' which was destined to die has already perished through spiritual awakening. What remains is the eternal Soul, which is beyond the reach of death and decay.
