अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब तक मनुष्य मृत्यु के भय से ग्रस्त है, वह सच्चा प्रेमी या साधक नहीं बन सकता। ईश्वरीय प्रेम का मार्ग अत्यंत कठिन और लंबा है, जिसे हृदय से गहराई से समझने की आवश्यकता है क्योंकि यह अहंकार के पूर्ण विनाश की मांग करता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that as long as a person fears death, they cannot be a true lover of the Divine. The abode of Love is far and arduous; one must realize within their heart that this journey requires the complete surrender of the ego and the transcendence of mortal fear.

अर्थ: संसार में अधिकांश लोग केवल गुणों या भौतिक संपदा के कारण दूसरों से प्रेम करते हैं। कबीर कहते हैं कि वास्तविक और सच्चा प्रेम वह है जो इन बाहरी गुणों और भौतिक लाभों से पूरी तरह मुक्त हो, जहाँ प्रेम का आधार केवल आत्मा की शुद्धता हो।

Meaning: In this world, most people offer their affection based on a person's virtues, talents, or material wealth. Kabir asserts that true, divine love is that which transcends these external attributes and material gains, existing independently of any transactional value.

अर्थ: सच्चा प्रेम किसी बगीचे में उगाया नहीं जा सकता और न ही इसे किसी बाज़ार से खरीदा जा सकता है। चाहे वह राजा हो या साधारण प्रजा, जो वास्तव में इस दिव्य प्रेम को पाना चाहता है, उसे अपने अहंकार का पूर्ण त्याग करना पड़ता है; इसे केवल आत्म-समर्पण के माध्यम से ही प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।

Meaning: True love cannot be cultivated like a crop in a garden, nor can it be purchased from a marketplace. Whether one is a powerful king or a common citizen, whoever truly desires this divine love must be willing to surrender their ego entirely; it is attainable only through absolute self-sacrifice.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिसे हम जागृत अवस्था मानते हैं, वह वास्तव में एक स्वप्न मात्र है, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे शरीर के भीतर सांसों का निरंतर चलना एक अनजाने प्रवाह की तरह है। जो व्यक्ति वास्तव में परमात्मा के प्रेम में लीन है और जिसे ईश्वर चाहता है, वह सदैव उसी के सानिध्य में रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that what we perceive as the waking state is actually a dream, much like the unconscious flow of breath within the body. He suggests that the one who is truly beloved by the Divine, and who reciprocates that love, remains in eternal communion with the Absolute, transcending the illusion of separation.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो व्यक्ति प्रेम और सच्ची श्रद्धा के साथ मिलता है, उसके पास हमें दौड़कर जाना चाहिए और उसे हृदय से अपनाना चाहिए। इसके विपरीत, जो व्यक्ति मन में छल, कपट या स्वार्थ रखकर मिलता है, उससे दूरी बना लेनी चाहिए क्योंकि ऐसा मिलन केवल दुखों और संकटों को निमंत्रण देता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that one should rush to embrace and connect with those who approach with genuine love and sincere affection. Conversely, he warns that meeting or associating with those who harbor deceit, hypocrisy, or hidden agendas in their hearts only brings about misfortune and spiritual distress.

अर्थ: जो व्यक्ति ईश्वर के प्रेम रूपी प्याले को पीना चाहता है, उसे अपने अहंकार रूपी सिर को दक्षिणा के रूप में अर्पित करना होगा। जो व्यक्ति लोभ और मोह में बंधा है, वह अपना अहंकार त्याग नहीं सकता, इसलिए वह केवल प्रेम का नाम लेता है, उसे वास्तव में अनुभव नहीं करता।

Meaning: Whoever wishes to drink from the cup of Divine Love must offer their head—the symbol of ego—as a gift. The greedy, bound by attachment and self-interest, cannot surrender this ego; thus, they merely utter the word 'love' without ever tasting its true essence.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि शारीरिक कष्ट सहना सरल है; आग की तपिश को सहना या तलवार की धार का सामना करना आसान है। परंतु किसी के साथ प्रेम और स्नेह के संबंध को निरंतर एक समान भाव और मिठास के साथ निभाना संसार का सबसे कठिन कार्य है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that enduring physical agony is relatively simple; one can bear the searing heat of fire or the sharp edge of a sword. However, maintaining a relationship of love and affection with consistent purity and unwavering devotion is the most arduous task in human existence.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो प्रेम सच्चा और गहरा होता है, वह समय के साथ समाप्त नहीं होता। जिस प्रकार एक बार तप कर आग सोख लिया गया पत्थर वर्षों तक पानी में रहने के बाद भी अपनी आंतरिक उष्णता या गर्मी नहीं छोड़ता, उसी प्रकार सच्चा आध्यात्मिक प्रेम आत्मा में स्थायी रूप से बस जाता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that true, profound love does not fade with time. Just as a stone, once heated in a fire, retains its internal warmth even after being submerged in water for years, a genuine spiritual connection and love, once ignited, remain permanently etched within the soul.

अर्थ: संसार में प्रेम के अनेक रूप और प्रकार मौजूद हैं—मोह, आसक्ति और शारीरिक आकर्षण। परंतु, कबीर कहते हैं कि इन सबमें सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रेम वह है जो एक सच्चे आध्यात्मिक गुरु (सतगुरु) के प्रति होता है, क्योंकि यही प्रेम आत्मा को परमात्मा से मिलाता है।

Meaning: The world is filled with countless varieties of love—attachment, desire, and emotional bonds. However, Kabir asserts that the highest and most sublime form of love is that which is directed toward the Satguru (True Teacher), as this is the only love that leads the soul to ultimate liberation.

अर्थ: जो व्यक्ति प्रेम के मार्ग पर चलता है, वह अपने अहंकार और अस्तित्व के त्याग से नहीं डरता। जिस साधक के भीतर मोह का कोई अवशेष नहीं बचता, उसका जन्म लेना सार्थक हो जाता है और वह जन्म-मृत्यु के चक्र से मुक्त हो जाता है।

Meaning: He who steps onto the path of Divine Love does not fear the sacrifice of his own ego or head. For the one who is completely untouched by the illusions of attachment, even in dreams, the cycle of birth and death ceases to be a burden, and life attains its ultimate purpose.
