अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि किसी भी जीवित प्राणी की हत्या या उसे कष्ट न दें, क्योंकि कर्मों का चक्र अटल है और वह जीव पुनर्जन्म में आपसे अपना हिसाब अवश्य लेगा। केवल तीर्थ यात्रा करने या करोड़ों हीरे दान करने से आप इस पाप से नहीं बच सकते; वास्तविक शुद्धि अहिंसा और करुणा में है।

Meaning: Kabir warns against the killing or harming of any living being, asserting that the cycle of karma is inevitable and the victim will eventually seek retribution. He emphasizes that outward rituals, such as visiting holy shrines or donating millions of diamonds, cannot erase the sin of violence; true redemption lies in compassion.

अर्थ: हे भोले मनुष्य, किसी भी जीवित प्राणी की हत्या मत करो, क्योंकि सभी जीवों में एक ही प्राण तत्व समाया हुआ है। चाहे तुम करोड़ों पुराण या धार्मिक ग्रंथ पढ़ लो, लेकिन हिंसा का पाप कभी नहीं मिटता; वह आत्मा पर अंकित रहता है।

Meaning: O innocent soul, do not slay any living being, for the same vital breath animates every creature. No matter how many millions of scriptures or Puranas you recite, the karmic stain of killing never vanishes; it remains etched upon the soul.

अर्थ: मनुष्य जीवन और मृत्यु के वास्तविक चक्र को समझने में असमर्थ है और अज्ञानता के अंधेपन में डूबा हुआ है। वह संसार की माया में इतना खो गया है कि उसे मोक्ष का द्वार नहीं मिलता, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप वह जन्म-जन्मांतर तक केवल पछतावे और दुखों के चक्र में फंसा रहता है।

Meaning: The human soul remains ignorant of the true nature of life and death, blinded by the illusions of the material world. Lost in this spiritual darkness, the individual fails to find the gateway to liberation, leading to a cycle of endless births and deaths characterized by profound regret and suffering.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि इस संसार में वनस्पतियों के अनगिनत पत्तों और गंगा की रेत के असंख्य कणों को गिनना असंभव है। इसी प्रकार, ईश्वर की महिमा और सत्य की गहराई इतनी असीम है कि कोई भी विद्वान या पंडित अपनी बौद्धिक क्षमता से इसे पूरी तरह नहीं समझा सकता।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that just as it is impossible to count every leaf of every plant or every grain of sand in the Ganges, the divine truth is infinitely vast. No scholar or learned priest, regardless of their intellectual prowess, can fully encapsulate or explain the absolute reality through mere logic.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिस मार्ग पर सनक आदि ऋषि, ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और महेश जैसे सर्वोच्च देवता भी गए, वह मार्ग अत्यंत कठिन और थका देने वाला है। जब स्वयं ईश्वर के अवतार और महान ऋषि उस मार्ग पर थक गए, तो मैं एक साधारण मनुष्य होने के नाते आपको क्या उपदेश दे सकता हूँ?

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the path traversed by the four Kumaras (Sanakadi), Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—the highest deities—is one of extreme exhaustion and rigor. अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि एक ऐसा वन है जहाँ न तो कोई जंगली जानवर विचरण करता है और न ही कोई पक्षी उड़कर जा सकता है। यह कोई भौतिक जंगल नहीं, बल्कि चेतना का वह गहन शून्य है, जहाँ कबीर ने अपनी शून्य समाधि के माध्यम से प्रवेश किया है।

Meaning: Kabir speaks of a forest where no wild beast wanders and no bird can fly. This is not a physical woodland, but the profound void of pure consciousness, a spiritual realm that Kabir has traversed through the practice of Shunya Samadhi, the meditation of emptiness.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो व्यक्ति परमात्मा की इच्छा के अनुसार अपने कर्म करता है और अपनी इच्छाओं को ईश्वर की इच्छा में विलीन कर देता है, उसके भीतर से राग (आसक्ति) और द्वेष (घृणा) पूरी तरह समाप्त हो जाते हैं। इस समर्पण की स्थिति में, आत्मा के वास्तविक स्वरूप में रत्ती भर भी कमी नहीं आती, बल्कि वह स्वयं को पूर्णतः जान लेता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that one who aligns their actions and speech with the Divine Will, surrendering personal desire to the cosmic flow, eradicates all attachments (raag) and aversions (dwesh). In this state of total surrender, not a shred of the soul's essence is diminished; rather, through this path, the individual realizes their true, eternal Self.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिस प्रकार एक गुमज (एक प्रकार का खोखला बर्तन या ढोल) की गोली या गूंज नीचे गिरते ही लुप्त हो जाती है और उसमें टिकती नहीं, उसी प्रकार एक मूर्ख व्यक्ति का हृदय होता है। उसमें सत्य के शब्द या आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान कभी ठहरते नहीं हैं; वे आते हैं और तुरंत चले जाते हैं।

Meaning: Kabir observes that just as the sound or the bead of a hollow percussion instrument (gumaj) falls away and fails to linger, so is the heart of a fool. In such a mind, the sacred word or spiritual wisdom never takes root; it enters and vanishes instantly without leaving a lasting impression.
