अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य अक्सर सामाजिक लोक-लाज और दुनिया के डर के कारण सत्य बोलने का साहस नहीं जुटा पाता। यह अत्यंत विडंबनापूर्ण है कि व्यक्ति सत्य रूपी शुद्ध सोने को जानते हुए भी उसे त्याग देता है और समाज द्वारा थोपे गए भ्रम रूपी कांच के टुकड़ों को पकड़कर बैठा रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that humans often refrain from speaking the truth due to the fear of social judgment and the desire for worldly acceptance. It is a profound irony that an individual, despite knowing the value of truth—which is like pure gold—abandons it to cling to the fragile, deceptive shards of social approval, which are merely like glass.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यदि मैं सत्य कहूँ तो लोग मुझे मारने दौड़ेंगे, क्योंकि यह संसार केवल झूठ और पाखंड पर विश्वास करता है। यह दुनिया एक काली कुतिया के समान है; यदि आप इसे सत्य से उकसाएंगे या इसकी असलियत दिखाएंगे, तो यह आपको काट लेगी और नष्ट कर देगी।

अर्थ: सत्यनिष्ठ व्यक्ति जब दूसरे सत्यनिष्ठ व्यक्ति से मिलता है, तो उनके बीच प्रेम और आत्मीयता और अधिक बढ़ जाती है। इसके विपरीत, जब एक पाखंडी या असत्य व्यक्ति का सामना परम सत्य या किसी सच्चे साधक से होता है, तो उसका अहंकार टूट जाता है और वह मानसिक पीड़ा और विरह का अनुभव करता है।

Meaning: When a truthful person encounters another truthful soul, their mutual love and spiritual affinity deepen profoundly. Conversely, when a person rooted in falsehood or hypocrisy meets the Absolute Truth or a genuine seeker, their ego is shattered, leading to intense suffering and the painful breaking of their illusory attachments.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब तक इस संसार में आपका अस्तित्व है और आप जीवित हैं, तब तक कभी असत्य का सहारा न लें। सत्य को अपने जीवन का आधार बना लें, क्योंकि केवल सत्य का मार्ग ही जन्म और मृत्यु के इस अंतहीन चक्र (आवागमन) को समाप्त कर मोक्ष दिला सकता है।

Meaning: Kabir advises against speaking falsehoods as long as one resides in this mortal realm. अर्थ: सत्य के समान कोई कठिन तपस्या नहीं है और झूठ के समान कोई बड़ा पाप नहीं है। जिस व्यक्ति के हृदय में पूर्ण सत्य का निवास होता है, उसी के हृदय में ईश्वर (परमात्मा) स्वयं वास करते हैं। सत्य केवल बोलना नहीं, बल्कि होना है।

Meaning: There is no austerity as potent as Truth, and no sin as grave as falsehood. In the heart where Truth resides in its purest form, the Divine Himself manifests. Truth is not merely the act of speaking correctly, but the state of being authentic.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मुझे इस संसार के नाम या स्थान की कोई चिंता नहीं है, मैं तो बस उस परम सत्य की ओर जाने वाले मार्ग पर चल पड़ा हूँ। यदि कल कोई बाधा या काँटा मुझे रोकने की कोशिश करेगा, तो मैं उसे पार कर लूँगा, लेकिन मैं आज ही अपनी यात्रा शुरू करूँगा ताकि समय व्यर्थ न जाए।

Meaning: Kabir declares that he is indifferent to the names or labels of worldly destinations; his sole focus is the path leading to the Ultimate Truth. He asserts that if obstacles or 'thorns' arise tomorrow, he will overcome them, but he chooses to stand firm and begin his spiritual ascent today rather than delaying his liberation.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि इस संसार में रहते हुए उन्होंने जो अनुभव और शिक्षा प्राप्त की, वह अब उन्हें अपने परमात्मा (सांई) की ओर ले जा रही है। वे उस अविनाशी परमात्मा से प्रार्थना करते हैं कि वह उन्हें अपने साथ ले चले, जिससे उनकी जीवन की अंतिम और एकमात्र वास्तविक अभिलाषा पूर्ण हो सके।

Meaning: Kabir proclaims that upon his realization of the Ultimate Truth, even Indra, the king of heaven, and Brahma, the creator of the universe, were struck with wonder and fell into deep contemplation. Kabir bypassed the allure of celestial realms and deities to merge with the formless, infinite, and boundless Ram—the Supreme Consciousness that transcends all created worlds.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि साधक को अपने भीतर के गहरे आध्यात्मिक पाताल से उस शुद्ध और शाश्वत अमृत रूपी जल को निकालना चाहिए। जो लोग बाहरी दुनिया के बासी और दूषित सुखों में फंसे रहते हैं, वे आध्यात्मिक रूप से मृत समान हैं, जबकि सांसारिक मोह-माया में लिप्त व्यक्ति केवल अपने दुखों और जन्म-मरण के चक्र को लंबा करते हैं।

Meaning: Kabir urges the seeker to draw the eternal, pure nectar-like water from the deepest depths of their own inner consciousness (the spiritual 'patala'). Those who rely on the stale, decayed pleasures of the external world are spiritually dead, while those entangled in sensory attachments merely prolong their suffering and the cycle of rebirth.
