परमात्मा में विलय (Afterlife) — Kabir Dohas

अर्थ: साधक कहता है कि निरंतर 'तू' (ईश्वर) का स्मरण और जाप करते हुए, वह स्वयं उस परमात्मा में विलीन हो गया है। अब उसके भीतर 'मैं' या अहंकार का कोई अस्तित्व नहीं बचा है। वह अपना सर्वस्व समर्पित कर चुका है और अब उसे सृष्टि के कण-कण में केवल उसी एक परमात्मा का दर्शन होता है।

Meaning: The seeker declares that through the constant remembrance and chanting of 'Thou' (the Divine), they have eventually become one with that Divine essence. The sense of 'I' or the individual ego has completely vanished. Having surrendered everything, the seeker now perceives the Divine presence in every single direction and every element of existence.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि सत्य का जो अनुभव था, वह शब्दों में व्यक्त कर दिया गया है; अब आगे कहने के लिए कुछ शेष नहीं है। जब द्वैत समाप्त हो जाता है और केवल एक ही तत्व बचता है, तब आत्मा और परमात्मा का मिलन वैसे ही हो जाता है जैसे नदी की लहरें अंततः विशाल सागर में विलीन हो जाती हैं।

Meaning: Kabir declares that whatever needed to be spoken regarding the Truth has been uttered; there is nothing left to say. When duality vanishes and only the One remains, the separation between the self and the Divine dissolves, much like a wave merging irrevocably into the vastness of the ocean.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि जैसे दिन ढलने पर चकवी चिड़िया अपने साथी के विरह में विलाप करती है, वैसे ही यह मानव जीवन भी नश्वर है। वे आत्मा को उस शाश्वत प्रदेश की ओर चलने का आह्वान करते हैं जहाँ समय का कोई बंधन नहीं है और जहाँ अज्ञानता की रात्रि कभी नहीं होती।

Meaning: Kabir observes that as the day ends, the female ruddy duck (chakvi) cries in separation from her partner. Similarly, human life is fleeting. He urges the soul (the chakva) to journey toward that eternal realm where there is no night—a state of perpetual spiritual awakening and liberation from the cycle of time.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि कोई भी व्यक्ति नाली या गंदे नाले का पानी पीना नहीं चाहता क्योंकि वह अपवित्र और अशुद्ध माना जाता है। लेकिन वही पानी जब गंगा नदी में मिल जाता है, तो वह पवित्र हो जाता है और लोग उसे श्रद्धापूर्वक पीने लगते हैं।

Meaning: Kabir observes that no one desires to drink water from a gutter or a sewage drain due to its impurity. However, once that very same water merges into the holy Ganges, it is transformed and revered as sacred water, which people then consume with great devotion.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब अहंकार का विलोपन हो जाता है, तब व्यक्ति स्वयं काशी (पवित्र नगरी) और स्वयं राम (परमात्मा) बन जाता है। जिस प्रकार मोटा आटा बारीक मैदा बन जाता है, उसी प्रकार साधक की अशुद्ध चेतना परिष्कृत होकर शुद्ध आनंदमय अवस्था में पहुँच जाती है, जहाँ वह परमात्मा का साक्षात अनुभव करता है।

Meaning: Kabir proclaims that when the ego is completely annihilated, the seeker becomes Kashi (the sacred city) and Ram (the Divine) themselves. Just as coarse flour is refined into fine maida, the seeker's crude consciousness is purified into a subtle, blissful state, allowing them to feast upon the direct experience of the Absolute.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मैंने अपना सब कुछ—अपना मन, अपनी आत्मा और अपना यह भौतिक शरीर—परमात्मा को समर्पित कर दिया है। अब मेरे पास देने के लिए कुछ भी शेष नहीं बचा है, क्योंकि मैंने स्वयं को पूरी तरह से मिटा दिया है।

Meaning: Kabir declares that he has surrendered everything—his mind, his consciousness, and his physical body—to the Divine. Now, there remains nothing left to give, for he has completely dissolved his individual identity into the Absolute.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि अपना संपूर्ण शरीर और मन उस परमात्मा को समर्पित कर देना चाहिए जो इंद्रियों के विषयों और सांसारिक मोह-माया से परे है। जब मनुष्य अपने अहंकार और 'मैं' की भावना को पूरी तरह त्याग देता है, तभी वह वास्तव में उस परम सत्ता या साहिब के भीतर विलीन हो सकता है और शाश्वत शांति प्राप्त कर सकता है।

Meaning: Kabir exhorts the seeker to surrender their entire physical existence and mental faculty to the Divine, who exists beyond the reach of sensory desires and worldly attachments. Only by completely discarding the 'I-ness' or the ego can one truly merge into the presence of the Master (Sahib), achieving a state of eternal union and liberation from the cycle of suffering.

अर्थ: जब साधक निरंतर उस परम तत्व 'तू' (ईश्वर) का स्मरण करता है, तो वह स्वयं उसी में विलीन हो जाता है। मन पूरी तरह से उस अनंत चेतना में समा गया है, जिससे अब उसे कहीं और भटकने की आवश्यकता नहीं रही; वह पूर्णता को प्राप्त कर चुका है।

Meaning: By incessantly chanting and contemplating the Divine 'Thou', the seeker eventually becomes that very Essence. The mind has merged completely into the Infinite, leaving no room for wandering or longing elsewhere, as the ultimate destination has been realized within.

अर्थ: संसार की इच्छाएं और सांसारिक लहरें समुद्र की लहरों की तरह आती और जाती रहती हैं, जो अंततः विलीन हो जाती हैं। लेकिन वह साधक वास्तव में प्रशंसनीय है जो इन बाहरी लहरों के पीछे भागने के बजाय, अपनी चेतना को उलटकर स्वयं के भीतर उस अनंत आध्यात्मिक समुद्र में विलीन हो जाता है।

Meaning: The desires and fluctuations of the worldly existence are like the waves of an ocean, constantly arising and subsiding. However, the true devotee is one who does not merely watch these waves come and go, but instead turns their consciousness inward to merge completely into the primordial ocean of divine consciousness.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि इस परम सत्य की अवस्था में कोई भी सांसारिक संबंध या पहचान शेष नहीं रहती। जब आत्मा ज्ञान की नाव पर सवार होकर संसार रूपी सागर को पार कर लेती है, तब वह उस अनंत शून्य में विलीन हो जाती है जहाँ सभी अलग हुए लोग अंततः एक ही मूल स्रोत में मिल जाते हैं।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that in the state of ultimate truth, no worldly relationship or identity remains. When the soul, aboard the boat of spiritual knowledge, crosses the ocean of existence, it merges into that infinite void where all who were once separated finally reunite in the one primordial source.
