ध्यान (Meditation) — Kabir Dohas

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब बाहरी मंत्रों का जाप, आंतरिक अजपा-जाप और यहाँ तक कि अनहद नाद का अनुभव भी विलीन हो जाता है, और जब साधक की चेतना पूरी तरह से उस परम शब्द (ब्रह्मनाद) में समा जाती है, तब वह व्यक्ति काल (मृत्यु और समय) के बंधन से मुक्त हो जाता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that when the conscious repetition of mantras, the subconscious internal chant, and even the experience of the unstruck sound (Anhad) dissolve into nothingness, and the consciousness merges completely into the Eternal Word, the seeker transcends the cycle of time and death.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि पूरा संसार माला फेरने (दिखावे की भक्ति) में लगा है, लेकिन मन के भीतर की उथल-पुथल और विकार समाप्त नहीं हुए। हाथ की लकड़ी की माला को छोड़कर, अपने मन के भीतर के विचारों और विकारों की माला को बदलो और उसे शुद्ध करो।

Meaning: Kabir observes that the world is preoccupied with the mechanical act of counting beads on a rosary, yet the inner turmoil and psychological distortions of the mind remain untouched. He urges the seeker to discard the external bead of the hand and instead focus on transforming the 'beads' of the mind—the repetitive patterns of ego and desire.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि भूख एक ऐसी कुल्हाड़ी या कुल्हाड़ी की तरह है जो ईश्वर की भक्ति और ध्यान में बाधा डालती है। जब तक शरीर की यह तीव्र भूख शांत नहीं होती, मन एकाग्र नहीं हो पाता। इसलिए, पहले थोड़ा भोजन करके भूख को शांत करना आवश्यक है, ताकि उसके बाद पूरी एकाग्रता और आनंद के साथ ईश्वर का स्मरण किया जा सके।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that hunger is like a sharp axe that disrupts the flow of devotion and meditation. As long as the physical body is tormented by intense hunger, the mind cannot achieve the stillness required for spiritual ascent. Therefore, one must first satisfy the hunger with a small morsel of food, ensuring the body is quiescent so that the soul can immerse itself in the divine remembrance with complete serenity.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि बाहरी दिखावे और पाखंड का कोई मूल्य नहीं है। ईश्वर की सच्ची खोज और उनका जाप मन के भीतर, अंतरात्मा में होना चाहिए। दुनिया के शोर-शराबे और लोगों के साथ व्यर्थ की चर्चा करने के बजाय, उस परम सत्ता (राम) से सीधा संबंध स्थापित करना चाहिए, क्योंकि अंततः आत्मा का संबंध केवल परमात्मा से है।

Meaning: Kabir emphasizes that external displays of piety and superficial rituals are meaningless. True devotion and the remembrance of the Divine (Ram) must occur within the depths of the heart and soul. अर्थ: जब मन पूरी तरह से ईश्वर के स्मरण या निरंतर जागरूकता में लीन हो जाता है, तब ज्ञान रूपी कुल्हाड़ी से अहंकार का सिर काट दिया जाता है। कबीर कहते हैं कि ऐसी स्थिति में साधक विचलित नहीं होता और उसे समस्त ब्रह्मांड का वास्तविक स्वरूप स्पष्ट रूप से दिखाई देने लगता है।

Meaning: When the mind becomes fully absorbed in the remembrance of the Divine or constant awareness, the axe of knowledge severs the head of the ego. Kabir asserts that in such a state, the seeker remains unshakable, and the true nature of the entire universe becomes vividly clear and certain.

अर्थ: अपने भीतर ज्ञान का दीपक जलाकर अज्ञानता के अंधकार को मिटाएं और आंतरिक घर को प्रकाशित करें। जब बाहरी दिखावा समाप्त हो जाए, तब गुरु के नाम का स्मरण करते हुए सहज समाधि की अवस्था में लीन हो जाएं, जहाँ आत्मा और परमात्मा एक हो जाते हैं।

Meaning: Ignite the lamp of true knowledge within yourself to incinerate the darkness of ignorance residing in the inner house. Once the illusions are burned away, remember the Guru's name and enter a state of effortless samadhi, where the individual soul merges seamlessly with the Eternal Truth.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि ईश्वर का स्मरण पूरी एकाग्रता और चेतना के साथ करें, जबकि मुख से बाहरी शोर और व्यर्थ की बातों को बंद कर दें। बाहरी दुनिया के द्वारों को बंद करके, अपने भीतर के आध्यात्मिक द्वारों को खोलें ताकि आप अपनी वास्तविक आत्मा से मिल सकें।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य की चेतना और ध्यान इस भौतिक संसार के मोह-माया और सांसारिक उलझनों में पूरी तरह फंस गए हैं, जिसके कारण वह अपने वास्तविक आध्यात्मिक स्रोत और परमात्मा से दूर हो गया है। मुक्ति का एकमात्र मार्ग यह है कि अपनी चंचल चेतना को नियंत्रित कर उसे स्थिर किया जाए और हर समय, दिन-रात, उस परम सत्ता के ध्यान में लीन रहा जाए।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that human consciousness and attention are hopelessly entangled in the webs of the material world and worldly attachments, causing a profound separation from the divine source. अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि जो लोग केवल ज्ञान की बातें करते रहते हैं और शब्दों के जाल में उलझे रहते हैं, वे व्यर्थ में अपना समय नष्ट कर रहे हैं। केवल बौद्धिक चर्चा से मोक्ष नहीं मिलता। सच्चे गुरु ने यही मार्ग बताया है कि शब्दों के शोर को छोड़कर निरंतर परमात्मा के सुमिरन (स्मरण) और आंतरिक अनुभव में लीन होना ही वास्तविक मार्ग है।
