अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि आध्यात्मिक मार्ग एक खजूर के ऊंचे पेड़ की तरह कठिन और चुनौतीपूर्ण है। यदि साधक साहस और धैर्य के साथ ऊपर चढ़ने में सफल होता है, तो उसे ईश्वरीय प्रेम और आनंद का मीठा रस प्राप्त होता है, लेकिन यदि वह बीच में अहंकार या लापरवाही के कारण गिरता है, तो उसका मानसिक और आध्यात्मिक पतन पूरी तरह से विनाशकारी होता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the spiritual path is as arduous and daunting as climbing a towering date palm tree. If the seeker possesses the courage and perseverance to ascend, they shall taste the sweet nectar of divine love; however, should they falter due to ego or negligence, the resulting spiritual fall is absolute and shattering.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब तक मनुष्य के भीतर 'भेद' या 'अंतर' की भावना बनी रहती है, तब तक वह वास्तविक शांति प्राप्त नहीं कर सकता। इस संसार के तीनों लोकों में ऐसा कोई व्यक्ति नहीं मिला जो इस द्वैत और अलगाव की मानसिक अवस्था में रहकर पूर्णतः सुखी हो पाया हो।

अर्थ: संसार में अज्ञानी, ज्ञानी, संतान, माता और पिता—सभी के प्रति अपने कर्तव्यों का पालन करना आवश्यक है, लेकिन अंततः मनुष्य को अपनी आत्मा की ओर मुड़ना चाहिए। बाहरी रिश्तों के मोह से ऊपर उठकर अपनी वास्तविक आध्यात्मिक यात्रा और स्वयं के स्वभाव को पहचानना ही जीवन का परम लक्ष्य है।

Meaning: In this world, one must fulfill their duties toward the ignorant, the wise, children, mothers, and fathers. However, ultimately, one must turn inward toward their own soul. The true purpose of life is to transcend the attachments of external relationships and recognize one's own authentic spiritual nature.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि वह समय व्यर्थ चला गया जो केवल सांसारिक और निरर्थक कार्यों में बीता, जिसमें संतों या सत्य के साधकों का साथ नहीं मिला। बिना ईश्वरीय प्रेम के मनुष्य का जीवन पशु के समान है, और बिना आध्यात्मिक भाव के वह केवल संसार में भटकता रहता है।

Meaning: The true essence of devotion lies in the cultivation of an unwavering emotional bond with the Divine. When a seeker dedicates their entire existence to 'Paramarth'—the highest spiritual good and selfless service—the physical survival of the body becomes irrelevant. The only goal is the realization of Truth, regardless of whether the physical form persists or perishes.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह मानव शरीर एक पुरानी, जर्जर नाव के समान है, जो सांसारिक मोह-माया और अज्ञानता के भारी बोझ से लदा हुआ है। जब तक इस जीवन-नाव को चलाने वाले वास्तविक नाविक (ईश्वर या आत्म-ज्ञान) से परिचय नहीं होता, तब तक इस भवसागर से पार पाना असंभव है।

Meaning: O seeker, immerse yourself in true devotion and spiritual discipline, for only then shall you attain the divine vision. Recognize that this human birth is a rare opportunity, a fleeting window of consciousness that does not recur frequently; do not squander it in vanity.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि शरीर की हड्डियों और मांस की तुलना में ईश्वर का भजन श्रेष्ठ है, भौतिक धन की तुलना में यह नश्वर शरीर एक साधन है, और सबसे बड़ी बुद्धि वह है जो दूसरों का उपकार करे। जीवन की वास्तविक सार्थकता केवल परोपकार और आध्यात्मिक समर्पण में निहित है।
