अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि इस संसार में 'शब्द' (दिव्य ज्ञान या नाम) से बड़ा कोई धन नहीं है, बशर्ते व्यक्ति उसके वास्तविक अर्थ और शक्ति को पहचान ले। भौतिक हीरे तो धन देकर खरीदे जा सकते हैं, लेकिन आध्यात्मिक शब्द का मूल्य किसी भी सांसारिक मुद्रा या तराजू से नहीं तोला जा सकता।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that there is no wealth greater than the 'Shabd' (the Divine Word or spiritual knowledge), provided one understands its true essence. Meaning: Who in this world is truly awake? The endless cycle of worldly pursuits and desires never reaches a final conclusion; they are an infinite loop of dissatisfaction. Meaning: Kabir asserts that whether one possesses wealth in the billions and trillions, or holds the sovereign power of vast empires, such material abundance is insignificant compared to the greatness of devotion. No earthly measure of gold or governance can outweigh the spiritual liberation and eternal bliss derived from true devotion to the Divine.

अर्थ: दुनिया में ऐसी बहुत सी बातें करने वाले लोग मिल जाते हैं जो ज्ञान की बड़ी-बड़ी बातें करते हैं, लेकिन वास्तव में उस सत्य को गहराई से समझने और आत्मसात करने वाला कोई नहीं मिलता। इसलिए, जो व्यक्ति सत्य को गहराई से नहीं समझ सकता, उसे केवल ऊपरी बातों में उलझने देना चाहिए, क्योंकि वास्तविक ज्ञान केवल अनुभव से आता है।

Meaning: Many are found who can speak of the truth and utter grand words of wisdom, yet few are found who truly grasp or embody that truth within themselves. Therefore, let those who cannot penetrate the depths of the truth remain with the surface-level words, for true realization is a matter of internal experience, not external articulation.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो व्यक्ति बिना सही मार्गदर्शक या ज्ञान के आध्यात्मिक घाट (लक्ष्य) को भूल गया है और बाहरी दिखावे या वेशभूषा में उलझ गया है, वह संसार की भीड़ में अपनी असली पहचान खो चुका है। ऐसा व्यक्ति बाहरी आडंबरों में इतना लीन है कि वह अपने भीतर स्थित उस परम तत्व को पहचानने में पूरी तरह असमर्थ है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that one who forgets the spiritual destination (the ghat) due to a lack of true guidance and becomes obsessed with outward appearances and ritualistic attire is utterly lost. Such a person is so entangled in the superficial noise of the world that they fail to recognize the divine essence residing within themselves.

अर्थ: साधक आध्यात्मिक यात्रा पर निकला था, लेकिन लक्ष्य से कुछ ही दूरी पर उसके पैर थक गए और वह बीच रास्ते में ही रुक गया। अब जब वह मंजिल के इतने करीब था, फिर भी वह वहां नहीं पहुँच पाया; इसमें किसका दोष है—उसकी अपनी कमजोरी का या मार्ग की कठिनाई का?

Meaning: A seeker set out on a spiritual journey, but just a few miles short of the destination, their feet grew weary and they collapsed. Having come so far, yet failing to reach the final goal, Kabir asks: whose fault is it? Is it the fault of the path, or the seeker's own lack of endurance?
