अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य का शरीर लाभ और वासनाओं से बनी एक ऐसी नाव है, जिसमें उसने अहंकार और सांसारिक मोह-माया रूपी भारी पत्थरों को लाद रखा है। विडंबना यह है कि वह अपने सिर पर क्रोध, ईर्ष्या और अज्ञान रूपी विष की पोटली रखे हुए है, फिर भी वह इस भवसागर से पार उतरने की इच्छा रखता है।

Meaning: Kabir describes the human existence as a fragile boat crafted from desires and worldly gains, yet heavily laden with the crushing weight of ego and material attachments. Paradoxically, the seeker carries a bundle of poison—representing anger, greed, and ignorance—upon their head, while desperately longing to cross the turbulent ocean of worldly existence to reach the shore of liberation.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि हे पक्षी (साधक), इस सेमर के पेड़ को तुरंत छोड़ दो क्योंकि इसकी चिपचिपी गोंद तुम्हारे सुंदर पंखों को गंदा और भारी कर देगी। वह सेमर का पेड़ सबसे खतरनाक है जिसके हृदय में कोई आँख नहीं है, अर्थात जहाँ विवेक और चेतना का अभाव है।

Meaning: Kabir warns the spiritual seeker, likened to a bird, to swiftly abandon the 'Semar' tree. The sticky resin of this tree clings to the wings, hindering flight. He emphasizes that the most perilous tree is the one without an 'eye' in its heart, symbolizing a state of existence devoid of spiritual awareness and discernment.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिस प्रकार एक हंस प्यास बुझाने के बाद सरोवर को छोड़कर आगे बढ़ जाता है, उसी प्रकार यह शरीर भी एक दिन खाली हो जाएगा और आत्मा इस संसार को त्याग देगी। संतों, यह सत्य जान लो कि जिस द्वार से हम इस संसार में आए हैं, अंततः हमें उसी द्वार से वापस लौटना है।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि एक लालची व्यक्ति और एक कुत्ते की वृत्ति एक समान होती है। जिस प्रकार कुत्ता या लोभी व्यक्ति किसी चीज़ को पाने या उसे अपने पास रखने में अत्यधिक सुख का अनुभव करता है, लेकिन जब वह वस्तु उससे छीनी जाती है, तो वह तड़प उठता है और उसे ऐसा लगता है जैसे उसके प्राण निकल रहे हों।
