अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मैं सत्य और ईश्वर की खोज में दुनिया के कोने-कोने में भटकता रहा, मेरा मन बाहरी दुनिया के अनुभवों से भर गया। लेकिन जिस परमात्मा को मैं बाहर ढूंढ रहा था, वह वास्तव में मेरे अपने भीतर ही मौजूद था, और मैं उसे बाहर खोजने की भूल कर रहा था।

Meaning: Kabir reflects on his exhaustive journey across lands and foreign shores, his mind saturated with the experiences of the external world. He realizes that the Divine entity he spent his life searching for in distant places was actually residing within his own heart all along, rendering his external search futile.

अर्थ: संसार विभिन्न रंगों और लहरों की तरह विविधतापूर्ण है, लेकिन मन उस सार या मकरंद (अमृत) को नहीं पहचान पाता जो इन सबके पीछे छिपा है। कबीर कहते हैं कि इस रहस्य को समझने के लिए साधारण बुद्धि नहीं, बल्कि उस अलौकिक या दिव्य ज्ञान (अकल कला) की आवश्यकता है जो अहंकार से परे है।

Meaning: The world is a kaleidoscope of diverse colors and undulating waves, yet the mind fails to perceive the hidden essence or the nectar (makrand) within. Kabir proclaims that to grasp this profound mystery, one must transcend ordinary intellectual reasoning and employ a divine, transcendental wisdom that exists beyond the limitations of the ego.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि जैसे कोई पर्वत की चोटी पर हवाओं के बीच रहने का प्रयास करे या बिना किसी साधन के गाँव तक पहुँचने की कोशिश करे, वैसे ही वह व्यक्ति मूर्ख है जो बिना साधना और बिना 'फूल' (गुरु या ज्ञान) के 'रस' (ईश्वर या मोक्ष) की इच्छा रखता है। बिना पौधे के फूल नहीं आता और बिना फूल के भंवरा रस नहीं पा सकता।

Meaning: Kabir explains that seeking spiritual liberation without the necessary foundation is as futile as expecting a breeze to carry one atop a mountain or reaching a village without a mount. He emphasizes that just as a bumblebee cannot find nectar without a flower, and a flower cannot exist without a plant, a seeker cannot attain divine bliss without the seed of discipline and the bloom of a Guru's grace.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य ने इस भौतिक संसार रूपी जल के भीतर अपना घर बना लिया है और अपनी सुख-सुविधाओं की सेज को पाताल यानी अज्ञान की गहराइयों में स्थापित कर लिया है। अब जब ईश्वर (करीम) का पासा फेंका गया है, तो मनुष्य इस मायावी जाल में पूरी तरह उलझ गया है, जहाँ से निकलना कठिन है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that man has constructed his home within the waters of this material existence and placed his bed of comfort in the depths of ignorance. Now that the divine dice of the Almighty (Kareem) have been cast, the soul finds itself entangled in the intricate web of Maya, struggling to break free from the illusions of the physical world.

अर्थ: ईश्वर कहीं बाहर नहीं, बल्कि हमारे अपने हृदय के भीतर निवास करता है। वह पूर्णतः जागरूक और सचेत है। जब भी मनुष्य को जीवन के किसी मोड़ पर सही दिशा या बुद्धि की आवश्यकता होती है, वह अंतरात्मा के माध्यम से उचित मार्गदर्शन और विवेक प्रदान करता है।

Meaning: The Divine does not reside in distant heavens or external shrines, but dwells within the sanctuary of one's own heart. This inner presence is eternally awake and mindful. Whenever a soul requires a specific direction or mental clarity to navigate life's complexities, the Divine provides the necessary wisdom and intuition from within.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यदि मैं सत्य को स्पष्ट रूप से प्रकट करूँ, तो दुनिया मुझे मारने दौड़ती है, क्योंकि लोग सत्य को सहन नहीं कर सकते। लेकिन यदि मैं इसे गुप्त रखूँ, तो कोई इसे देख नहीं पाता। यह सत्य उस गुप्त खजाने की तरह है जो भीतर छिपा है; यदि इसे सही तरीके से समझा जाए, तो कोई शत्रु नहीं रहता।

Meaning: Kabir observes that while the physical body may appear as a graceful swan, the mind remains as restless and impure as a crow. This mind wanders across millions of leagues; at times it is drowned in the illusory ocean of worldly attachments, and at other times it drifts into the vastness of the sky, never finding a center of stillness.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि इस संसार की माया इतनी शक्तिशाली और व्यापक है कि स्वयं सृष्टि के रचयिता ब्रह्मा, पालनहार विष्णु और संहारक महेश (शिव) भी इसके प्रभाव में हैं। यहाँ तक कि महान ऋषि नारद, विद्या की देवी सरस्वती, सनक और सनन्दन जैसे महान तपस्वी, और गौरी एवं गणेश जैसे दिव्य व्यक्तित्व भी माया के इस जटिल जाल से पूरी तरह मुक्त नहीं हैं।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the illusion of Maya is so pervasive and potent that even the highest deities—Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver, and Shiva the Destroyer—are subject to its influence. Even the most enlightened beings, such as Sage Narada, Goddess Saraswati, the ascetic Sanak and Sanandan, and the divine Gauri and Ganesh, are not entirely exempt from the subtle grip of this cosmic play.

अर्थ: यह आध्यात्मिक मार्ग अत्यंत कठिन और चुनौतीपूर्ण है, इसलिए बिना पूर्ण तैयारी और संकल्प के यहाँ कोई न आए। जो इस मार्ग पर निकल गया, वह अपनी पुरानी पहचान और अहंकार को पीछे छोड़ देता है और कभी वापस नहीं लौटता; क्योंकि जो पूर्णता को पा लेता है, वह फिर कभी उस अज्ञानता की स्थिति में नहीं लौट सकता जहाँ से वह चला था।

Meaning: The path to ultimate truth is exceedingly arduous; therefore, one should not venture upon it lightly. Once a seeker embarks on this journey of total surrender, there is no returning to the former self. Those who have merged into the Infinite do not return to the world of duality to report their well-being, for the 'I' that started the journey has ceased to exist.
