अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि गुरु वाराणसी में निवास करते हैं और शिष्य नदी के तट पर स्थित समंदों में रहता है। यदि शरीर में वास्तविक आध्यात्मिक गुण और पात्रता हो, तो वह ज्ञान कभी भुलाया नहीं जा सकता और न ही वह ओझल होता है, क्योंकि वह आत्मा में रच-बस जाता है।

Meaning: Kabir suggests that while the Guru may reside in the sacred city of Varanasi and the disciple dwells on the banks of the river, the spiritual wisdom imparted is never forgotten if the disciple possesses the inner merit and spiritual capacity to absorb it. True knowledge becomes an inseparable part of one's being.

अर्थ: यह दोहा प्रेम और समर्पण की पराकाष्ठा को दर्शाता है। कबीर कहते हैं कि जिसे हम वास्तव में प्रेम करते हैं और जिसके प्रति हमारा भाव सच्चा है, वह हमें अवश्य प्राप्त होगा। जब कोई व्यक्ति अपने तन और मन को पूरी तरह से परमात्मा या अपने प्रिय को सौंप देता है, तो वह अटूट संबंध कभी समाप्त नहीं होता और वह विरह की पीड़ा से मुक्त होकर शाश्वत मिलन को प्राप्त करता है।

Meaning: This couplet illustrates the pinnacle of love and surrender. Kabir asserts that the one for whom we harbor true, heartfelt devotion will inevitably be attained. When a seeker completely surrenders both body and mind to the Divine or the Beloved, that bond becomes indissoluble, ensuring that the union, once achieved, can never be severed or lost.

अर्थ: जब साधक को अपनी आत्मा का वास्तविक अनुभव होता है, तब वह सुख-दुख और हर्ष-विषाद के द्वंद्व से ऊपर उठ जाता है। वह एक स्थिर दीपक की भाँति शांत हो जाता है और सांसारिक तर्कों, वाद-विवाद और मानसिक संघर्षों का पूरी तरह त्याग कर देता है।

Meaning: When the seeker attains the direct experiential realization of the Self, the oscillations of joy and sorrow cease to exist. Like a steady flame in a windless place, the soul remains poised in stillness, having abandoned all intellectual disputes and the futile noise of worldly arguments.

अर्थ: संसार में प्रेम के अनेक रूप और प्रकार मौजूद हैं, जिनमें सांसारिक मोह और आसक्ति शामिल है। परंतु कबीर कहते हैं कि उन सबमें सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रेम वह है जो एक सच्चे गुरु (सतगुरु) के प्रति होता है, क्योंकि यही प्रेम आत्मा को परमात्मा से मिलाने का मार्ग प्रशस्त करता है।

Meaning: In this worldly existence, love manifests in countless forms and varieties, ranging from fleeting desires to deep emotional attachments. However, Kabir asserts that the highest and most sublime form of love is that which is directed toward the True Teacher (Satguru), as this is the only love that leads the soul toward ultimate liberation.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि यदि मैं पूरी पृथ्वी को कागज बना लूँ, संसार के सभी वनों की लकड़ियों से कलम बना लूँ और सातों समुद्रों के जल को स्याही बना लूँ, तब भी गुरु के गुणों और उनकी महिमा का वर्णन करना असंभव है। गुरु की कृपा अनंत और अवर्णनीय है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that even if the entire earth were transformed into paper, every forest in the world into a writing quill, and the waters of the seven vast oceans into ink, the infinite virtues and spiritual grace of the Guru would still remain unwritten. The Guru's essence transcends all physical measurement.
