अर्थ: इस दोहे में कबीर कहते हैं कि ईश्वर या प्रेम को सीमाओं, बंधनों और सांसारिक परिभाषाओं के भीतर नहीं पाया जा सकता। वह 'बेहद' यानी असीम है। जो व्यक्ति सीमा (हद) और असीम (बेहद) के बीच के सूक्ष्म अंतर और उनके गहरे संबंध को समझ लेता है, उसे ही वास्तव में परमात्मा या परम प्रेम की प्राप्ति होती है।

Meaning: In this couplet, Kabir asserts that the Divine or True Love cannot be found within boundaries, restrictions, or worldly definitions. The Beloved is 'Behad'—limitless. अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब तक मनुष्य अपनी सीमित बुद्धि और अहंकार की सीमाओं में बंधा है, वह केवल शब्दों और तर्कों का सहारा लेता है, क्योंकि उसे उस असीम परमात्मा का वास्तविक अनुभव नहीं है। जब वह उस अनंत और असीम सत्य का साक्षात्कार कर लेगा, तब शब्दों की आवश्यकता समाप्त हो जाएगी क्योंकि वह अनुभव अवर्णनीय है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that as long as a person remains confined within the limits of their intellect and ego, they rely on words and arguments because they lack the actual experience of the Infinite. अर्थ: जो व्यक्ति सामाजिक मर्यादाओं और सीमाओं के भीतर रहता है, वह एक साधारण मनुष्य है। जो इन सीमाओं को पार कर अनंत की खोज करता है, वह साधक है। परंतु, जो व्यक्ति सीमा और असीम, दोनों के द्वंद्व और मोह को त्याग देता है, उसकी आध्यात्मिक समझ और ज्ञान अत्यंत गहरा और अपार होता है।

Meaning: One who dwells within the boundaries of social norms and limitations is a common human. One who transcends these limits to seek the infinite is a spiritual seeker. However, the one who transcends the duality of both the limited and the limitless, abandoning attachment to both, possesses a wisdom that is unfathomable and profound.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब साधक सीमा (साकार) और असीम (निराकार) दोनों के द्वंद्व को त्याग देता है और अपनी चेतना का मिलन उस परम सत्य से कर लेता है, तब उसे वह आनंद प्राप्त होता है जिसके सामने यह संपूर्ण संसार तुच्छ प्रतीत होता है। वह उस अवस्था में पहुँच जाता है जहाँ बाहरी दुनिया का कोई मोह नहीं रहता।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो सत्य अगम (अपहुँच) है, उसे उन्होंने अनुभव किया है। उन्होंने उस अद्वैत सत्य को पा लिया है जहाँ कोई भेद नहीं रहता। यह वाणी उस परम ज्ञान (आगम) की है, जिसे उन्होंने अपने आत्म-साक्षात्कार के माध्यम से स्वयं में समाहित कर लिया है।
