अर्थ: संसार के लोग केवल बाहरी मान-सम्मान, प्रतिष्ठा और बड़प्पन को देखकर भक्ति या श्रद्धा प्रकट करते हैं। लेकिन जैसे ही उन्हें उस व्यक्ति में कोई कमी या साधारणता दिखाई देती है, वे तुरंत उसे तुच्छ समझने लगते हैं और उसके दोषों को गिनाने लगते हैं।

Meaning: The world tends to offer devotion and respect based solely on outward status, prestige, and perceived greatness. However, the moment a flaw or a sign of insignificance is noticed, the same people quickly dismiss the individual and focus entirely on their shortcomings.

If you show it love, it licks your face in affection; however, if you show it hostility, it attacks and harms your body. The world mirrors this instinctive, reactive behavior toward the ego.

Meaning: To receive divine grace, one must practice the remembrance of the Divine Name, and to give back to the world, the highest act is the sharing of food.
