अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि कौआ किसी का धन नहीं छीनता और न ही कोयल किसी को धन देती है। वास्तविक संपत्ति भौतिक धन नहीं, बल्कि मधुर वाणी है। कोयल अपनी मीठी बोली से संपूर्ण संसार को अपना बना लेती है, जबकि कौआ अपनी कर्कशता के कारण उपेक्षित रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that a crow cannot steal one's wealth, nor can a cuckoo bestow riches upon anyone. The true treasure is not material gold but the sweetness of speech. By speaking kindly, the cuckoo wins over the entire world, whereas the crow remains shunned due to its harsh voice.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि इस संसार का स्वभाव यह है कि यहाँ हर रिश्ता और हर मित्रता स्वार्थ पर आधारित होती है। लोग केवल उन्हीं से जुड़ते हैं जिनसे उन्हें कोई लाभ प्राप्त हो। लेकिन जो व्यक्ति बिना किसी निजी लाभ या स्वार्थ के दूसरों का सम्मान करता है और प्रेम बाँटता है, वही वास्तव में बुद्धिमान और श्रेष्ठ मनुष्य है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that the world is fundamentally driven by self-interest; most relationships are merely transactional, where affection is exchanged for personal gain. He asserts that the truly wise and enlightened soul is the one who offers respect and kindness to others without expecting anything in return, transcending the cycle of greed.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि दुनिया में प्रचलित अधिकांश रीति-रिवाज और परंपराएं केवल सांसारिक लाभ, अहंकार और भौतिक स्वार्थ से प्रेरित हैं। वास्तविक आध्यात्मिक सत्य या परमार्थ का मार्ग अत्यंत दुर्लभ है, और इस कलयुग के समय में ऐसे लोग बहुत कम हैं जो वास्तव में निस्वार्थ भाव से सत्य की खोज में लगे हों।

Meaning: Kabir observes that the vast majority of customs and traditions practiced by society are rooted in worldly gain, ego, and material self-interest. The path of true spiritual essence or 'Parmarth' (the ultimate truth) is exceedingly rare, and in this age of Kali, those who genuinely seek the Divine without selfish motives are few and far between.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि सांसारिक मित्र और साथी केवल स्वार्थ से बंधे होते हैं; जब व्यक्ति संकट या दुख में होता है, तो वे साथ छोड़ देते हैं। इसके विपरीत, वह परमात्मा (परमारथी) जो परम सत्य है, वह व्यक्ति की हर स्थिति में—चाहे वह सुख हो या दुख—सदैव उसके साथ उपस्थित रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir explains that worldly companions are driven by self-interest and vanish during times of adversity. In stark contrast, the Divine (Paramarthi), the Ultimate Truth, remains eternally present and steadfast, accompanying the soul through every fluctuation of joy and sorrow without condition.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो व्यक्ति दूसरों की मदद इस उम्मीद में करता है कि बदले में उसे कुछ प्रशंसा या लाभ मिले, वह स्वार्थी है। वास्तविक वीर या 'सुरमा' वह है जो बिना किसी व्यक्तिगत लाभ की इच्छा के, केवल परोपकार और मानवता की भलाई के लिए निस्वार्थ भाव से कार्य करता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that one who performs acts of kindness expecting a return, whether in the form of praise or material gain, remains bound by selfishness. The true spiritual warrior, the 'Surma', is the one who serves others without any desire for reward, acting solely for the collective welfare and the higher good of all beings.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मैं अपने व्यक्तिगत शारीरिक सुखों, भौतिक आवश्यकताओं या सांसारिक लाभ के लिए किसी के सामने हाथ नहीं फैलाता। लेकिन जब बात परमार्थ की आती है—अर्थात आत्मा के कल्याण और सत्य की खोज की—तो मैं संकोच या सामाजिक शर्म को त्याग कर सत्य के लिए समर्पित होने को तैयार हूँ।

Meaning: Kabir declares that he does not beg or seek help from others for his own physical needs or worldly comforts. However, when it comes to 'Parmarth'—the pursuit of the Supreme Truth and the spiritual liberation of the soul—he feels no shame or hesitation in seeking guidance or surrendering to the divine truth.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि इस संसार में न तो यौवन स्थायी है, न शरीर की सुंदरता, और न ही यह भौतिक स्थान या घर। सब कुछ नश्वर है। केवल वही पुण्य और यश इस दुनिया में जीवित रहता है जो दूसरों की निस्वार्थ सेवा और मदद के माध्यम से अर्जित किया गया हो।

Meaning: Kabir teaches that neither youth nor physical beauty lasts, nor do the places or homes we inhabit. Everything in the material world is transient. The only thing that remains as a lasting legacy in this world is the fame and grace earned through selfless service and helping others in need.

अर्थ: यह संपूर्ण संसार भ्रम और मोह में फँसा हुआ है, जहाँ हर व्यक्ति किसी न किसी सामाजिक पहचान, पद, जाति या अहंकार की उपाधि से बंधा हुआ है। इस अज्ञानता के गहरे जाल से मानवता को मुक्त करने और उन्हें सत्य का मार्ग दिखाने के लिए ही इस संसार में संतों और सद्गुरुओं का अवतरण होता है।

Meaning: The entire world is wandering in a state of profound delusion, where every individual is shackled by 'upadh'—the superficial labels of caste, creed, status, and ego. To rescue humanity from this intricate web of ignorance and to guide them toward the ultimate truth, enlightened saints and spiritual masters manifest in this world.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि माया और अहंकार (या सांसारिक मोह) एक ही मूल के हैं। जब कोई व्यक्ति बाहरी आडंबरों या सामाजिक प्रतिष्ठा के पीछे भागता है, तो वह वास्तव में माया के जाल में फँसा होता है। लोग अक्सर बाहरी दिखावे का सम्मान करते हैं, बिना यह समझे कि सत्य आंतरिक है और जाति या वर्ग का कोई वास्तविक महत्व नहीं है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that Maya (illusion) and the ego's attachments are essentially of the same nature. When a person pursues external pomp or social prestige, they are merely dancing to the tune of illusion. People tend to honor the outward appearance or status of a person, failing to realize that truth is internal and that caste or social labels hold no spiritual significance.

अर्थ: केवल बाहरी आकार, पद, या धन में बड़ा होना व्यर्थ है यदि आप दूसरों के काम नहीं आते। जिस प्रकार खजूर का पेड़ बहुत ऊंचा होता है, लेकिन वह न तो राहगीर को छाया देता है और न ही उसके फल आसानी से उपलब्ध होते हैं, उसी प्रकार वह व्यक्ति निरर्थक है जिसका बड़प्पन दूसरों के लिए लाभकारी नहीं है।

Meaning: Mere greatness in stature, rank, or wealth is meaningless if it serves no purpose for others. Just as the date palm grows toweringly high yet offers no shade to the weary traveler and keeps its fruit far beyond reach, a person's perceived superiority is void if it does not translate into compassion or utility for fellow beings.
