Meaning: The Creator, the primal cause of all existence, is endowed with infinite virtues and is devoid of any flaw. If I search within the depths of my own heart, I will discover that all imperfections, shortcomings, and vices reside solely within me.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिस प्रकार मधुमक्खी विभिन्न फूलों से मीठा रस एकत्र करती है, वैसे ही मनुष्य संसार के विविध अनुभवों से सीखता है। परंतु, जब तक अहंकार का पूर्ण विसर्जन नहीं होता, तब तक वास्तविक आध्यात्मिक साम्राज्य या शांति प्राप्त नहीं होती। बिना स्वयं को मिटाए, कोई भी व्यक्ति सत्य का दावा नहीं कर सकता।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिस प्रकार फटे-पुराने कपड़ों से कभी कोई सुंदर वस्त्र या राजसी पोशाक नहीं बन सकती, उसी प्रकार सांसारिक मोह-माया के साथ आध्यात्मिक उत्थान संभव नहीं है। ज्ञान की प्राप्ति के बाद कबीर ने स्वर्ण (धन) और कामिनी (इंद्रिय सुखों) दोनों का त्याग कर दिया ताकि वे सत्य को पा सकें।
