अर्थ: यह दोहा प्रेम और समर्पण की पराकाष्ठा को दर्शाता है। कबीर कहते हैं कि जिसे हम वास्तव में प्रेम करते हैं और जिसके प्रति हमारा भाव सच्चा है, वह हमें अवश्य प्राप्त होगा। जब कोई व्यक्ति अपने तन और मन को पूरी तरह से परमात्मा या अपने प्रिय को सौंप देता है, तो वह अटूट संबंध कभी समाप्त नहीं होता और वह विरह की पीड़ा से मुक्त होकर शाश्वत मिलन को प्राप्त करता है।

Meaning: This couplet illustrates the pinnacle of love and surrender. Kabir asserts that the one for whom we harbor true, heartfelt devotion will inevitably be attained. Meaning: Kabir asserts that enduring physical agony is relatively simple; bearing the heat of fire or the edge of a sword is manageable. अर्थ: जब साधक को अपनी आत्मा का वास्तविक अनुभव होता है, तब वह सुख-दुख और हर्ष-विषाद के द्वंद्व से ऊपर उठ जाता है। वह एक स्थिर दीपक की भाँति शांत हो जाता है और सांसारिक तर्कों, वाद-विवाद और मानसिक संघर्षों का पूरी तरह त्याग कर देता है।

Meaning: When the seeker attains the direct experiential realization of the Self, the oscillations of joy and sorrow cease to exist. Like a steady flame in a windless place, the soul remains poised in stillness, having abandoned all intellectual disputes and the futile noise of worldly arguments.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब मृत्यु का समय आता है, तो व्यक्ति के चारों ओर उसके शक्तिशाली रक्षक, योद्धा और परिजन खड़े होकर शोर मचाते हैं, लेकिन काल (मृत्यु) इतना शक्तिशाली है कि वह व्यक्ति को उसके सुरक्षित महल के बीच से भी खींच ले जाता है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that when the hour of death arrives, even if a person is surrounded by powerful warriors and loved ones who cry out in desperation, the formidable force of Time (Death) is so overwhelming that it snatches the soul away from the very center of its secure fortress.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिस प्रकार एक विवाहित स्त्री अपने माथे पर सिंदूर की रेखा लगाकर अपने पति के प्रति पूर्ण समर्पण व्यक्त करती है, उसी प्रकार एक साधक जब परमात्मा के प्रेम में लीन हो जाता है, तो उसके हृदय में किसी और सांसारिक मोह या दूसरे देवता के लिए कोई स्थान नहीं बचता। यह पूर्ण समर्पण और अनन्य भक्ति की अवस्था है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that just as a married woman marks her forehead with vermilion to signify her absolute devotion and commitment to her husband, a seeker who is immersed in the love of the Divine finds their heart so occupied that there is no room for any other worldly attachment or secondary deity. It is a state of total surrender and exclusive devotion.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब तक तुम्हारे पास यह जीवित शरीर है, तब तक परोपकार और दान का अभ्यास करो। क्योंकि एक समय ऐसा आएगा जब यह शरीर राख में बदल जाएगा, और फिर इस भौतिक शरीर का कोई अस्तित्व नहीं रहेगा, जिससे दान देने की क्षमता समाप्त हो जाएगी।

Meaning: Kabir urges the seeker to practice generosity and selfless giving while the physical body still exists and functions. He warns that the body is transient and will eventually turn to ash, at which point the physical capacity to act or give in the material world will vanish entirely.

अर्थ: जो लोग गुरु को केवल एक साधारण मनुष्य समझते हैं, वे वास्तव में आध्यात्मिक रूप से अंधे हैं। ऐसा व्यक्ति इस संसार में निरंतर दुखों का सामना करता है और अंततः मृत्यु के पश्चात यमराज के दंड और जन्म-मृत्यु के चक्र के जाल में फंसा रहता है।

Meaning: Those who perceive the Guru as merely a human being are considered spiritually blind. Such individuals remain entangled in the sorrows of the worldly existence and, upon death, find themselves trapped in the snares of Yama, the lord of death, and the cycle of rebirth.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी एक चलती हुई चक्की को देखकर भावुक हो जाते हैं और विलाप करते हैं। वे देखते हैं कि जिस प्रकार चक्की के दो भारी पाटों के बीच आने वाला हर अनाज का दाना पूरी तरह पीस दिया जाता है, उसी प्रकार इस संसार के द्वंद्वों के बीच कोई भी मनुष्य अक्षुण्ण या सुरक्षित नहीं बच पाता।

Meaning: Observing a grinding mill in motion, Kabir weeps in profound realization. He perceives that just as every grain of corn is crushed beyond recognition between the two heavy millstones, no human being remains untouched or whole when caught between the relentless dualities and opposing forces of this material existence.
