अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि जो एक बार इस भौतिक संसार से विदा हो गया, वह पुनः नहीं मिलता। अब मैं किससे अपनी व्यथा कहूँ या किससे सत्य पूछूँ? माता, पिता, पुत्र और सभी सगे-संबंधी, ये सभी सांसारिक रिश्ते अंततः मिथ्या और क्षणभंगुर हैं।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that once a soul departs from this physical realm, it is gone forever, leaving the seeker with no one to turn to for answers. He declares that the bonds of parents, children, and kin are ultimately illusory and transient, offering no permanent refuge in the face of death.

अर्थ: संसार के लोग केवल बाहरी चक्की (सांसारिक उपलब्धियों और शोर) की चर्चा करते हैं, लेकिन उस कीली (केंद्र बिंदु या ईश्वर) को नहीं देखते जो पूरी चक्की को थामे हुए है। जो व्यक्ति उस अदृश्य केंद्र या परमात्मा से जुड़ा रहता है, उसका जीवन सुरक्षित रहता है और उसे कोई कष्ट नहीं पहुँचता।

Meaning: Everyone speaks of the grinding stone and its outward rotation, yet none mention the central pivot—the pin that holds the entire mechanism together. He who remains firmly attached to this invisible center, the Divine Pivot, remains untouched by the turbulence of existence and suffers no harm.

अर्थ: जब मनुष्य के भीतर से सांसारिक इच्छाएं समाप्त हो जाती हैं, तो उसकी सारी मानसिक चिंताएं स्वतः ही मिट जाती हैं। वह मन पूरी तरह से लापरवाह और मुक्त हो जाता है। जिस व्यक्ति को संसार में किसी भी वस्तु या पद की कोई चाह नहीं रहती, वही वास्तव में समस्त राजाओं का भी राजा, अर्थात परम समृद्ध है।

Meaning: When the fire of worldly desires is extinguished, the burden of anxiety vanishes instantly. The mind becomes carefree and liberated from the shackles of longing. He who seeks nothing from the external world is the true emperor of emperors, possessing a wealth that no earthly king can ever claim.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि यदि मनुष्य का मन शांत, शीतल और अहंकाररहित हो, तो इस संसार में उसका कोई शत्रु नहीं होगा। यदि व्यक्ति अपने 'आपा' यानी अहंकार और स्वयं की झूठी पहचान को त्याग दे, तो हर कोई उसके प्रति दयालु और प्रेमपूर्ण हो जाएगा।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that if one's mind remains cool, calm, and devoid of agitation, no enemy exists in this world. By shedding the 'Aapa'—the false sense of ego and separate identity—one transforms their relationship with the universe, evoking compassion and kindness from every living being.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जहाँ काम (सांसारिक वासना और इच्छाएँ) होता है, वहाँ नाम (ईश्वर का स्मरण या आध्यात्मिक चेतना) नहीं रह सकता। और जहाँ पूर्णतः नाम का वास होता है, वहाँ काम का अस्तित्व समाप्त हो जाता है। ये दोनों परस्पर विरोधी हैं और एक साथ नहीं रह सकते, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे सूर्य और रात्रि एक ही समय पर एक स्थान पर नहीं हो सकते।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that where 'Kaam' (worldly desire and lust) resides, 'Naam' (the Divine Name or spiritual consciousness) cannot exist. Conversely, where the Divine Name is fully established, desire vanishes. These two forces are mutually exclusive and can never coexist in the same space, just as the sun and the night cannot occupy the same moment in one place.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य पवित्र स्थानों और दूर-दराज के देशों की यात्राएं करता है, यह सोचकर कि ईश्वर बाहर कहीं स्थित है। परंतु जब वास्तव में उस प्रियतम (परमात्मा) से मिलन होता है, तब यह अहसास होता है कि वह तो सदैव अपने ही भीतर था, और जिसे वह अपना घर समझ रहा था, वह वास्तव में एक पराया स्थान था।

Meaning: Kabir observes that humans wander across sacred lands and distant foreign shores, searching for the Divine in external geographies. However, when the actual union with the Beloved occurs, the seeker realizes that the Divine was always within; consequently, the external world they called 'home' was actually the true wilderness.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिस हृदय में प्रेम का संचार नहीं होता, वह हृदय वास्तव में एक श्मशान के समान है। ऐसा व्यक्ति जीवित होते हुए भी मृत है, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे लुहार की भट्टी में जलती हुई खाल जो केवल हवा के दबाव से हिलती है, परंतु उसमें कोई वास्तविक जीवन या चेतना नहीं होती।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that a heart devoid of love is nothing more than a cremation ground. Such a person, though physically alive, is spiritually dead—comparable to the hide of an animal in a blacksmith's forge that may seem to move or breathe due to the heat and air, yet possesses no actual soul or vital spark.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो स्वयं को ज्ञानी मानते हैं, वे अक्सर वास्तविक ज्ञान के अर्थ को भूल जाते हैं, जबकि सत्य उनके अपने भीतर ही स्थित है। वे मूर्खतापूर्ण तरीके से सत्य को बाहरी दुनिया, तीर्थों या ग्रंथों में खोजते हैं, जबकि वह अनुपम और अद्वितीय तत्व उनके अपने हृदय में निवास करता है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that those who pride themselves on being scholars often lose sight of the essence of true knowledge, even though the Truth resides closest to them. In a state of spiritual blindness, they exhaust themselves searching for the Divine in external rituals and distant places, unaware that the most exquisite and incomparable reality is within their own soul.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि मनुष्य इस संसार के क्षणभंगुर और मिथ्या सुखों को ही वास्तविक सुख मानकर उनमें आनंदित रहता है। वह इस सत्य को भूल जाता है कि यह संपूर्ण जगत काल (मृत्यु) का एक आहार है, जहाँ कुछ सुख वर्तमान में उपभोग किए जा रहे हैं और कुछ भविष्य के लिए संचित हैं, परंतु अंततः सब काल द्वारा निगल लिए जाएंगे।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that humans mistake fleeting, illusory pleasures for true happiness, allowing the mind to rejoice in deception. He warns that the entire world is merely a morsel for 'Kaal' (Time/Death); some of these pleasures are already being consumed, while others are stored for later, yet ultimately, everything is destined to be devoured by the inevitable passage of time.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यदि जीवन में सही सत्संग और आध्यात्मिक जागृति नहीं मिली, तो बीते हुए दिन व्यर्थ चले गए। बिना प्रेम के मनुष्य का जीवन पशु के समान है, और बिना सच्ची भक्ति के ईश्वर की प्राप्ति असंभव है।
