Meaning: One who fights using mere arrows and physical weapons cannot be called a true warrior. The real hero is the one who renounces the illusions of Maya and devotes themselves to the Divine, conquering the internal battle of the ego.

Meaning: Kabir observes that while humans crave spiritual knowledge, their physical existence acts as a quiver and the mind as an erratic arrow. Caught in the web of desires and ego, the seeker wanders aimlessly, ultimately wounding themselves because their aim is skewed by superficiality and the lack of true internal alignment.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that his spiritual teachings and the path to Truth are like a formidable bow lying in an open field. Many self-proclaimed warriors and scholars have attempted to string this bow and failed; it can only be drawn by the 'Sujan'—the truly wise saint who has completely annihilated the ego.

Meaning: Kabir declares that his spiritual sword is uniquely curved and razor-sharp. When this blade strikes the veil of ignorance and ego, it cleaves it into two distinct pieces. This strike is so precise and potent that it annihilates even the most formidable delusions of the powerful and arrogant.

Meaning: Kabir describes the world as a crooked fortress, where both the mindset of the inhabitants and the gateways of existence are distorted by illusion. He suggests that while the world is skewed by ego and desire, the one who attains spiritual clarity and purity transcends the fear of death, leaving even the Lord of Death, Yamraj, defeated and bewildered.

Meaning: Kabir declares that he has demolished the fortress of his ego, which had captured the five treasures of sensory experience. Using the axe of spiritual knowledge and the tool of selfless action, he has hacked away the walls of pride, transforming the cluttered landscape of the mind into a vast, open, and liberated plain.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that once a seeker dismantles the fortress of their ego and conquers the five sensory enemies, they truly bow before the Divine Master. It is through this absolute surrender and annihilation of the self that the soul attains its ultimate glory and spiritual grandeur.

Meaning: The Divine sits at a high window, accepting the salutations and surrender of all beings. He grants each individual a reward that is exactly proportional to their own service, effort, and the quality of their inner devotion. Here, 'Ram' does not refer to a mythological figure, but to the Universal Consciousness that remains impartial and just.

Meaning: Kabir describes the world as a vibrant marketplace, a fair of illusions where people are preoccupied with the colors of worldly desires and material gains. Amidst this chaotic bazaar of existence, Kabir engages in a divine play with the Formless Ram (the Supreme Consciousness). In this spiritual game, he remains undefeated because he has surrendered his ego, aligning his will with the Universal Will.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that if he loses in this spiritual struggle, it is the will and glory of Hari (the Divine). If he wins, it is merely a worldly gamble or a victory of the ego. When playing a game with the Supreme Brahman, if one's head (symbolizing the ego and identity) is lost in the process, let it be gone without regret.
