अर्थ: भक्ति का मार्ग अत्यंत कठिन और सूक्ष्म है, जहाँ मन में रत्ती भर भी अहंकार, पाखंड या अशुद्धि नहीं चल सकती। यह उस निराकार ईश्वर का खेल है, जहाँ सहारा खोजने की कोशिश करने वाले को केवल असफलता और मानसिक आघात ही प्राप्त होता है, क्योंकि यहाँ कोई बाहरी आधार नहीं है।

Meaning: The path of devotion is exceedingly arduous and precise; not even a grain of impurity or ego can persist here. It is the play of the Formless One, where those seeking a tangible external support find only the shock of instability, for there is no worldly foundation to lean upon.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि भक्ति एक खेल की गेंद की तरह है जिसे कोई भी उठा सकता है और खेल सकता है। ईश्वर की प्रेम साधना में कोई भेदभाव नहीं है; यहाँ न तो कोई गरीब (रंक) है और न ही कोई अमीर (राय), क्योंकि आत्मा की पुकार सबके लिए समान है।

Meaning: The gateway to true devotion is incredibly narrow, allowing only those as minute as a mustard seed—stripped of ego—to pass. However, the human mind has become bloated with pride, desires, and worldly attachments, making it too cumbersome to enter this subtle portal of spiritual liberation.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो व्यक्ति केवल दिखावे या टुकड़ों में भक्ति करता है, वह स्वयं को आध्यात्मिक पुत्र या योग्य मानता है। परंतु वास्तव में, माया के प्रभाव में फँसे लोग केवल ढोंग करते हैं, और इस भ्रम के कारण अनगिनत आत्माएं संसार के चक्र में भटकती रहती हैं।
