अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि व्यर्थ की बातें, अनावश्यक मजाक, और केवल मनोरंजन के लिए किया गया खेल आध्यात्मिक मार्ग में बाधक हैं। अहंकार, भौतिक संपत्ति का मोह और कामुक वासनाएं एक सच्चे संत या साधक के मार्ग में अनुपयोगी और हानिकारक हैं, क्योंकि ये मन को विचलित करती हैं।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that idle chatter, frivolous joking, and mindless entertainment are detrimental to the spiritual path. Pride, the lure of material wealth, and carnal attachments are useless and obstructive for a true seeker or saint, as they distract the mind from its ultimate source.

अर्थ: कबीर यहाँ दो प्रकार के लोगों की तुलना कर रहे हैं: एक वह जो सांसारिक मोह त्याग कर वैरागी बन गया है और दूसरा वह जो गृहस्थ जीवन में रहकर भी उदार हृदय रखता है। यदि वैरागी के भीतर अहंकार है और गृहस्थ के भीतर मोह, तो दोनों ही आध्यात्मिक मार्ग पर विफल हैं और उनका जीवन व्यर्थ जाता है।

Meaning: Kabir compares two paths: the ascetic who renounces the world and the householder who maintains a generous and open heart. He asserts that if the ascetic lacks true detachment and the householder lacks genuine compassion, both fail in their spiritual quest, leaving their lives devoid of ultimate liberation.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब मनुष्य शब्दों के गहरे अर्थ पर विचार करते हुए सत्य के मार्ग पर चलता है, तब ज्ञान की गली उसके पैरों को दिशा देती है। इस अवस्था में यह भेद मिट जाता है कि कौन भ्रमण कर रहा है, कौन स्थिर बैठा है, या कौन सांसारिक मोह-माया और पारिवारिक सुख की छाया में विश्राम कर रहा है।

Meaning: Kabir suggests that when a seeker walks the path by contemplating the true essence of the Divine Word, the alley of wisdom guides their every step. In this state of realization, the duality between the wanderer and the dweller, or between spiritual pursuit and worldly domesticity, completely dissolves into a singular experience of truth.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यदि आप सांसारिक जीवन और पारिवारिक जिम्मेदारियों के बीच रह रहे हैं, तो वहीं रहकर ईश्वर की भक्ति करें। यदि आप पूरी तरह समर्पित नहीं हो सकते, तो वैराग्य धारण कर लें। लेकिन सबसे दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण वह व्यक्ति है जो वैरागी होने का ढोंग करता है या संन्यास लेकर भी सांसारिक मोह-माया और बंधनों में जकड़ा रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir suggests that if one resides within the domestic sphere, one should practice devotion there. Alternatively, one should embrace true renunciation. The most unfortunate soul is the one who adopts the outward appearance of a renunciant (Sannyasi) but remains internally shackled by worldly attachments and desires.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि किसी से कुछ माँगना आध्यात्मिक मृत्यु के समान है। वे हमें यह शिक्षा देते हैं कि मनुष्य को अपनी गरिमा और स्वावलंबन को बनाए रखना चाहिए। भीख माँगना केवल भौतिक अभाव नहीं, बल्कि आत्मा की जीवंतता और आत्मविश्वास का अंत है।

Meaning: Kabir declares that the act of begging is equivalent to spiritual death. He imparts a vital lesson: one must maintain their inherent dignity and self-reliance. To beg is not merely a physical lack of resources, but the extinction of the soul's vitality and self-confidence.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो सहजता और स्वाभाविक रूप से प्राप्त होता है, वह दूध की तरह शुद्ध और पोषण देने वाला है। जो माँगने या याचना करने से मिलता है, वह पानी की तरह साधारण है। लेकिन जहाँ अहंकार, दिखावा और जबरदस्ती शामिल होती है, वह रक्त के समान है, जो केवल पीड़ा और द्वेष को जन्म देता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that which is attained through natural ease and spontaneity is as pure and nourishing as milk. That which is obtained through pleading or asking is like water—simple and common. However, that which is sought through ego, pretension, or forced effort is like blood, bringing only pain and conflict.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि यदि कोई व्यक्ति केवल अपनी भूख मिटाने के लिए या जीवन की बुनियादी आवश्यकताओं के लिए कुछ मांगता है, तो उसमें कोई दोष नहीं है। लेकिन जो व्यक्ति लालचवश अपनी आवश्यकता से अधिक संचय करता है, वह आध्यात्मिक पतन की ओर जाता है और उसे मोक्ष की प्राप्ति नहीं होती।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that there is no sin in seeking only what is necessary to sustain the body and satisfy hunger. However, he warns that those who grasp and accumulate beyond their actual needs, driven by greed, obstruct their own spiritual liberation and distance themselves from the state of Moksha.
