अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि बाहरी दिखावे, जैसे कि लौंग, इलायची का विलासितापूर्ण उपयोग या मिट्टी और पानी से दांत साफ करने जैसी तुच्छ शारीरिक क्रियाओं में उलझकर न रहें। वे चेतावनी देते हैं कि उन लोगों की बातों पर ध्यान न दें जो केवल बाहरी आडंबरों और सांसारिक सुखों की चर्चा करते हैं, भले ही वे स्वयं को संत कहें।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that those seekers who truly belong to the divine court are fully awakened and surrendered. Through their guidance, all spiritual voids are filled. Anyone who finds and connects with such a genuine saint is swiftly led toward the realization of the Formless Divine (Ram).

अर्थ: कुछ लोग प्रेम और श्रद्धा लेकर आते हैं, जबकि कुछ अपनी अभावग्रस्तता और रिक्तता लेकर आते हैं। परंतु एक सच्चा संत या आत्मज्ञानी व्यक्ति दोनों का समान रूप से पोषण करता है; वह इस बात का भेद नहीं करता कि कौन उसे क्या दे रहा है, क्योंकि उसकी करुणा सबके लिए एक समान है।

Meaning: Some approach with love and devotion, while others come burdened by lack and emptiness. However, a true saint or enlightened soul nourishes both equally; they do not differentiate between the abundance of the giver or the void of the seeker, for their compassion is universal and unconditional.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यदि कपड़े में कोई छेद या फटा हुआ हिस्सा है, तो उसे ठीक करने के लिए एक पैबंद (टुकड़ा) लगा देना चाहिए। इसी प्रकार, जब कोई सज्जन या साधु कुछ मांगे, तो संकोच या कंजूसी नहीं करनी चाहिए, क्योंकि उदारता ही वास्तविक धर्म है।

Meaning: Kabir suggests that if a garment is torn, one should mend it with a patch to make it whole again. Similarly, when a seeker or a saint asks for help, one should not hesitate or feel reluctant to give, for true spiritual practice lies in selfless generosity and the removal of egoic attachment.

अर्थ: जब एक सच्चा साधु अतिथि बनकर आता है, तो वह भौतिक धन नहीं बल्कि चार आध्यात्मिक रत्न मांगता है: आंतरिक अग्नि (तप), पवित्रता (जल), संतोष (साझा करना) और श्रद्धापूर्वक अर्पित किया गया अन्न। यह भौतिक दान के बजाय चेतना के उत्थान का आह्वान है।

Meaning: When a true seeker or saint arrives as a guest, he does not ask for material wealth but for four spiritual gems: the fire of discipline, the purity of water, the spirit of sharing, and food offered with genuine faith. It is a call for spiritual awakening over material charity.

अर्थ: एक सच्चे साधु के दर्शन का फल अत्यंत महान है, जो करोड़ों यज्ञों के फल के समान है। बाहरी मंदिरों की खोज में भटकने की आवश्यकता नहीं है; यदि आप अपने आंतरिक नगर यानी मन और आत्मा को शुद्ध कर लें, तो वास्तविक ईश्वर की प्राप्ति वहीं हो जाएगी।

Meaning: The sight of a true seeker or realized soul yields immense fruit, surpassing the merit of millions of ritualistic fires. There is no need to obsess over external temples; if one purifies their own inner city—the mind and heart—the divine presence is realized within.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि समय की गणना अत्यंत सूक्ष्म और तीव्र है; दिन, वर्ष और युग एक दूसरे में समाहित हैं। इस मायावी समय चक्र में केवल वही साधक पार उतर पाता है जिसने सत्य को जान लिया है, जबकि शेष संसार सांसारिक मोह-माया और व्यर्थ के विवादों में उलझा रहता है।
