अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि संसार में शब्दों और उपदेशों की कोई कमी नहीं है, लेकिन हमें उनमें से केवल उस 'सार' या वास्तविक सत्य को निकालने का प्रयास करना चाहिए जो जीवन को सार्थक बनाता है। यदि कोई व्यक्ति उस मूल सत्य को नहीं पहचानता, तो उसका जीवन व्यर्थ और निरर्थक है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that while the world is flooded with countless words, scriptures, and discourses, one must churn through them to extract the 'essence' or the ultimate truth. He warns that a life spent without realizing this core spiritual essence is a life wasted, devoid of true purpose.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब तक सुनने वाला (श्रोता) और बोलने वाला (वक्ता) अलग-अलग महसूस करते हैं, तब तक केवल शब्दों का शोर रहता है। लेकिन जब सुनने वाला और बोलने वाला एक ही चेतना के घर में विलीन हो जाते हैं, तब उस आदि-अनंत सत्य की वास्तविक कथा का अनुभव होता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that as long as the listener and the speaker are perceived as separate entities, there is only the noise of discourse. However, when the listener and the speaker merge into a single abode of consciousness, the primordial and eternal truth begins to unfold.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि वास्तविक समझ या बोध की गति एक ही होती है, जो हर स्थान और परिस्थिति में समान रहती है। जो व्यक्ति इस परम सत्य को जान लेता है, वह हर जगह एक ही तत्व को देखता है। लेकिन जो लोग केवल बाहरी दिखावे या आधे ज्ञान में फंसे हैं, वे भ्रमित रहते हैं और एक बात को दूसरी बात से अलग बताते हैं, जबकि सत्य अविभाज्य है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the essence of true understanding is singular and universal, remaining consistent across all planes of existence. One who grasps this ultimate realization perceives the same divine unity everywhere. However, those caught in the web of partial knowledge or superficiality perceive contradictions and divisions, mistakenly claiming that one truth is different from another, whereas the Absolute is indivisible.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि स्वर्ग और नरक की कल्पनाओं के बीच मनुष्य दो विपरीत विचारधाराओं या द्वंद्वों में फंसा हुआ है। छह अलग-अलग दर्शन और लाखों सिद्ध पुरुष भी इस सत्य के संशय को नहीं मिटा पाए हैं, और चौरासी लाख योनियों का चक्र इसी भ्रम के कारण निरंतर चलता रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that between the imagined realms of heaven and hell, humanity is trapped between two conflicting poles of perception. Even the six classical schools of philosophy and countless realized beings remain entangled in doubt, while the cycle of eighty-four thousand species continues due to this fundamental ignorance of the Self.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि एक हरे तालाब में हंस और बगुला दोनों एक जैसे दिखते हैं क्योंकि दोनों सफेद होते हैं। लेकिन उनकी प्रकृति अलग है; हंस केवल दूध (सार) को चुनता है, जबकि बगुला केवल मछली (सांसारिक मोह) के लालच में रहता है और अंततः काल के गाल में समा जाता है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that in a lush green pond, the swan and the crane appear identical due to their white plumage. However, their inner natures differ fundamentally; the swan discerns and extracts the essence (milk), while the crane remains trapped in the greed for prey, eventually falling victim to the cycle of time and death.

अर्थ: जो व्यक्ति सीमाओं और सांसारिक नियमों के भीतर चलता है, वह साधारण मनुष्य है। जो इन सीमाओं को पार कर अनंत की ओर बढ़ता है, वह साधु है। परंतु, जो व्यक्ति सीमा और असीम, दोनों के द्वंद्व को पूरी तरह त्याग देता है, उसकी बुद्धि और चेतना वास्तव में अगाध और अनंत हो जाती है।

Meaning: One who walks within the confines of worldly limits and social norms is an ordinary human. One who transcends these limits to seek the infinite is a seeker or a saint. However, the one who transcends the very duality of 'limited' and 'limitless' attains a consciousness that is unfathomable and truly infinite.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि उस परमब्रह्म के दिव्य प्रकाश और तेज की कल्पना करना मानवीय बुद्धि के लिए असंभव है। उस अनंत सत्ता की महिमा का वर्णन शब्दों में करना न केवल कठिन है, बल्कि अनुचित भी है; उसे केवल प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव और आत्म-साक्षात्कार के माध्यम से ही जाना जा सकता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the divine radiance and brilliance of the Supreme Absolute (Parbrahm) are beyond the reach of human imagination. He suggests that attempting to describe the glory of that infinite existence in words is not only impossible but inappropriate; it can only be realized through direct experiential perception and spiritual awakening.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मेरे जीवन की वर्तमान स्थिति और मेरे कर्मों को देखो, जो पिछले जन्मों के प्रारब्ध का परिणाम हैं। जिस अलौकिक और निराकार परमात्मा के महल तक पहुँचना बड़े-बड़े ऋषियों और मुनियों के लिए भी दुर्लभ है, उस अलेख (अदृश्य/अनाम) परमात्मा ने मुझे अपना मित्र बना लिया है।

Meaning: Kabir invites us to observe his life and actions as a manifestation of his destiny from previous births. He marvels that while the celestial abode of the Formless Divine remains inaccessible even to the most learned sages and ascetics, that very Ineffable One has chosen him—a simple weaver—as an intimate friend.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जल ही जम कर बर्फ बना, और फिर वही बर्फ पिघल कर वापस जल में मिल गई। जो कुछ भी था, वह अपने मूल स्वरूप में लौट आया। अब इस अवस्था के बारे में शब्दों में कुछ भी कहना संभव नहीं है क्योंकि यह अनुभव की पराकाष्ठा है।

Meaning: Kabir explains that water froze to become ice, and then that ice melted back into water. Whatever existed has returned to its original essence. Now, nothing more can be said in words, for the state of absolute oneness transcends all linguistic description.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब चेतना (सुरति) पूरी तरह से विलीन हो जाती है और वैराग्य (निरति) की स्थिति प्राप्त होती है, तब जाप या बाहरी प्रयास की आवश्यकता नहीं रहती। जो लिखा गया है वह मिट जाता है और जो अलिखित (अलेख) है, वही सत्य बन जाता है, जहाँ आत्मा स्वयं में ही पूर्ण हो जाती है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that when consciousness (Surati) is fully absorbed and a state of complete detachment (Nirati) is achieved, the need for repetitive chanting or external effort vanishes. The written or conditioned identity dissolves into the Unwritten (Alekh), where the Self becomes entirely absorbed within its own primordial essence.
