अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य के हृदय के भीतर ही वह दर्पण (आरसी) मौजूद है जिसमें वह अपने वास्तविक स्वरूप को देख सकता है, परंतु वह उसे देख नहीं पाता। जब तक हृदय में द्वंद्व, संशय और मानसिक उलझनें बनी रहती हैं, तब तक आत्मा का वास्तविक चेहरा दिखाई नहीं देता। केवल आंतरिक शांति और स्पष्टता आने पर ही सत्य का साक्षात्कार संभव है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that within the human heart lies a mirror (aarasi) through which one can behold their true essence, yet it remains unseen. अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि खजूर के पेड़ की ऊंचाई को बड़प्पन नहीं समझना चाहिए। वह पेड़ बहुत ऊंचा तो होता है, लेकिन न तो वह किसी थके हुए पंछी को छाया दे पाता है और न ही उसके फल आसानी से पहुंच में होते हैं। वास्तविक बड़प्पन परोपकार और सरलता में है, न कि केवल बाहरी ऊंचाई या अहंकार में।

Meaning: Kabir suggests that the towering height of a date palm should not be mistaken for true greatness. Though the tree reaches great heights, it offers no shade to a weary bird, and its fruits remain distant and inaccessible. Meaning: Kabir asserts that physical pain and bodily ailments are transient and can be endured or cured as they affect only the skeletal frame.
