अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि करोड़ों जन्मों के संचित कर्म और पाप एक ही क्षण में मिट सकते हैं यदि व्यक्ति को राम (परमात्मा) का साक्षात्कार हो जाए। यदि कोई व्यक्ति युगों-युगों तक केवल बाहरी पुण्य कर्म करता रहे, लेकिन उसके भीतर उस निराकार राम का वास न हो, तो वह आध्यात्मिक शांति और मोक्ष के अंतिम गंतव्य तक कभी नहीं पहुँच सकता।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the accumulated karmas of millions of lifetimes can be dissolved in a single blink of an eye upon the realization of Ram (the Divine). Even if one performs virtuous deeds across countless eras, such merit remains futile and provides no ultimate refuge if the internal connection with the formless Divine is absent.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह संसार एक बाज़ार की तरह है जहाँ हम केवल अस्थायी रूप से आए हैं। हमारा असली घर कहीं और है। हमें अपने सांसारिक कर्मों और मोह-माया के व्यापार को यहीं समाप्त कर, अपनी आत्मा की वास्तविक यात्रा पर निकलना चाहिए।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that this world is akin to a marketplace where we are merely transient visitors. Our true home lies elsewhere. We must settle our worldly accounts, relinquish the attachments of karma and desire, and embark upon the journey back to our eternal source.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि किसान ने अपने खेत में कड़ी मेहनत से फसल उगाई, लेकिन जंगली जानवरों ने उसे चर लिया। बेचारा खेत तो कुछ नहीं कर सकता, क्योंकि उसकी रक्षा करना मालिक (किसान) की जिम्मेदारी है, परंतु यदि मालिक ही लापरवाह हो या बचाव का प्रयास न करे, तो फसल का नष्ट होना निश्चित है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that a farmer tills his land with great effort, yet wild animals graze upon the crop. The field itself is helpless and cannot protect itself; the responsibility lies solely with the owner. If the master remains indifferent or fails to guard the harvest, the loss is inevitable.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि हे मनुष्य! तू उस मछली की तरह है जो जाल से बचने की कोशिश तो कर रहा है, लेकिन शिकारी (काल) ने हर तरफ जाल बिछा रखा है। तू जिस भी जलाशय या दिशा में शरण लेने की कोशिश करेगा, वहाँ तुझे माया का जाल ही मिलेगा। मृत्यु और मोह का चक्र अटल है।

Meaning: Kabir warns that the human soul is like a fish attempting to escape its fate, unaware that the fisherman (Time/Death) has cast nets everywhere. No matter which pond or refuge the fish seeks, the nets of worldly illusion (Maya) are already present, making escape impossible through mere physical movement.

अर्थ: इंसान सांसारिक इच्छाओं और इंद्रियों के सुखों में इतना उलझ गया कि उसने अपने जीवन का वास्तविक उद्देश्य खो दिया। अब जब समय बीत चुका है, तो केवल पछतावा करना व्यर्थ है; इसके बजाय व्यक्ति को अपने कर्मों का आत्म-निरीक्षण करना चाहिए ताकि वह सत्य को समझ सके।

Meaning: A human becomes so entangled in sensory desires and worldly cravings that they squander the precious opportunity of a human birth. Now that time has slipped away, mere regret is futile; instead, one must reflect upon their own actions to realize the truth of their existence.

अर्थ: कबीर यहाँ व्यंग्य करते हैं कि बाहरी दिखावे और धार्मिक कर्मकांडों के माध्यम से अपनी गलतियों को ढंकने का प्रयास व्यर्थ है। जैसे कोई दीवार को चूने और मिट्टी से रंगकर उसकी दरारों को छिपाने की कोशिश करता है, वैसे ही पापी व्यक्ति बाहरी आडंबरों से अपने आंतरिक दोषों को छिपाना चाहता है, परंतु सत्य अंततः प्रकट होता है।

Meaning: Kabir satirizes the futile attempt to conceal internal spiritual decay through external rituals and superficial displays of piety. Just as one might try to hide the cracks in a wall using lime and mud, a soul burdened by sin attempts to mask its impurities with religious performance, yet the ultimate truth remains uncovered and inescapable.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि जो काम कल करना है उसे आज ही कर लो, क्योंकि तुम्हारे पास सभी आवश्यक साधन और क्षमताएं अभी उपलब्ध हैं। यदि तुम समय को टालते रहे, तो अंततः समय (मृत्यु) तुम्हें अपने नियंत्रण में ले लेगा और तुम चाहकर भी कुछ नहीं कर पाओगे।

Meaning: Kabir urges us to accomplish today what we intend to do tomorrow, for all the necessary resources and capabilities are currently within our reach. If we persist in procrastination, time—which eventually manifests as death—will seize us, leaving us powerless to act upon our spiritual or worldly intentions.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब मनुष्य अपने कुलाचारों, पारिवारिक अहंकार और सांसारिक कर्मों के मोह में फंसकर अपनी आध्यात्मिक चेतना (हंस) को खो देता है, तो फिर कुल की मर्यादा या प्रतिष्ठा का कोई अर्थ नहीं रह जाता। जब आत्मा पशुवत हो जाती है, तो कुल का गौरव व्यर्थ है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that when a human being loses their spiritual consciousness (symbolized by the swan) due to the obsession with lineage, ancestral pride, and worldly rituals, the notion of family honor becomes meaningless. Once the soul descends to a primal, animalistic state of ego, ancestral prestige holds no value.

अर्थ: समय अत्यंत शक्तिशाली और त्वरित है, इसलिए किसी के साथ बुरा व्यवहार न करें। जिस प्रकार बिना बीज बोए फसल नहीं काटी जा सकती, उसी प्रकार हम जो कर्म करते हैं, उन्हीं का फल हमें भविष्य में प्राप्त होता है।

Meaning: Time is absolute and immediate; therefore, one should never commit evil acts. Just as one cannot harvest a crop without first sowing a seed, the fruits of our life are the direct result of the actions we have planted.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि जब तुम गलत कार्य कर रहे थे, तब तुम क्यों नहीं रुके? अब जब परिणाम सामने है, तो पछताने से क्या लाभ? यदि तुमने बबूल का पेड़ लगाया है, तो तुम उससे आम की उम्मीद कैसे कर सकते हो? कर्म और फल का संबंध अटल है।

Meaning: Kabir asks why one continued in error when they had the chance to stop, and why they grieve now that the consequences have arrived. He asserts that if one plants the seeds of a thorny acacia tree, it is an impossibility to expect the sweet fruit of a mango. Action and result are inextricably linked.
