Meaning: Kabir employs a biting satire to describe the inevitable decay and distribution of the human body after death. He suggests that once life departs, the body is partitioned: the breath vanishes, the flesh is consumed by nature or scavengers, and the remaining hide is taken by the leather-worker. The core message is a stark reminder of the futility of bodily vanity and the transient nature of physical existence, urging the seeker to look beyond the flesh.
