अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि केवल माला जपने से कुछ नहीं होता यदि हृदय के भीतर की गांठें—अर्थात अहंकार, द्वेष और मोह—नहीं खुलतीं। वास्तविक मुक्ति तब मिलती है जब साधक अपना चित्त गुरु के चरणों में समर्पित कर दे, जिससे वह अविनाशी लोक 'अमरापुर' को प्राप्त कर सके।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the mere mechanical act of chanting beads is futile if the knots within the heart—ego, hatred, and attachment—remain untied. True liberation is achieved only when the seeker anchors their consciousness at the feet of the Guru, thereby attaining the immortal realm of Amrapur.

अर्थ: जो व्यक्ति प्रेम और भक्ति के गहरे भाव में लीन रहता है, वह अंततः मोक्ष और मुक्ति का फल प्राप्त करता है। जब साधक उस 'शब्द' (परम ध्वनि या ईश्वरीय सत्य) में पूरी तरह विलीन हो जाता है, तो वह जन्म और मृत्यु के चक्र से मुक्त हो जाता है, जहाँ न कुछ आने का दुख रहता है और न जाने का भय।

Meaning: One who remains completely immersed in the essence of love and devotion eventually attains the fruit of liberation and salvation. When the seeker merges entirely into the 'Shabd' (the primordial sound or divine truth), they transcend the cycle of coming and going, reaching a state of eternal stillness where duality ceases to exist.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि उन्होंने अपने गुरु के ज्ञान रूपी रस को पूरी तरह से आत्मसात कर लिया है, अब उनके भीतर किसी अन्य बाहरी ज्ञान या सांसारिक मोह की कोई प्यास नहीं बची है। जिस प्रकार कुम्हार द्वारा पका लिया गया घड़ा अब पूरी तरह स्थिर और ठोस हो चुका है, उसे दोबारा आकार देने के लिए चाक पर नहीं चढ़ाया जा सकता, वैसे ही उनकी आत्मा अब पूर्ण और अपरिवर्तनीय हो गई है।

Meaning: Kabir declares that he has fully imbibed the essence of his Guru's wisdom, leaving no room for further longing or external influence. Just as a pot, once fired in the kiln by the potter, becomes solid and permanent and can no longer be reshaped on the potter's wheel, Kabir's soul has reached a state of spiritual completion and immutability.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह मानव जीवन एक जर्जर नाव के समान है और इसे चलाने वाला नाविक (ईश्वर या गुरु) अत्यंत कुशल है। जिन्होंने 'हरि' (परमात्मा) का नाम लिया और स्वयं को समर्पित कर दिया, वे इस भवसागर से पार उतर गए, जबकि वे लोग डूब गए जिन्होंने अहंकार और सांसारिक मोह-माया का बोझ अपने सिर पर ढोया हुआ था।

Meaning: Kabir describes the human life as a dilapidated boat and the ferryman (the Divine or Guru) as the only capable guide. Meaning: Kabir asserts that the individual who 'loses' in the race of worldly ambitions and ego is truly fortunate. Conversely, those who conquer the world only succeed in securing their place at the gates of death and ignorance (Yama).

अर्थ: यह संसार क्षणभंगुर और अस्थायी है, यहाँ सब कुछ दो दिन का मेहमान है। इसलिए इस नश्वर दुनिया से मोह या गहरा लगाव न रखें। इसके बजाय अपना ध्यान और हृदय गुरु के चरणों में लगाएं, क्योंकि वही आपको उस शाश्वत और पूर्ण आनंद की ओर ले जा सकते हैं जो कभी समाप्त नहीं होता।

Meaning: This world is fleeting and transient, lasting only a metaphorical 'two days.' Therefore, do not cultivate deep attachment or emotional longing for its ephemeral pleasures. Instead, anchor your consciousness at the feet of the Guru, for only that spiritual guidance leads to the realization of absolute, eternal bliss that transcends the cycle of birth and death.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that while chanting the name of the Formless Divine and meditating upon the feet of the True Guru are essential steps, true liberation is not achieved through ritual alone. It is attained when one combines inner spiritual realization (soul-worship) with active, selfless compassion toward all living beings.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिसने उस दिव्य शब्द (अनहद नाद) को प्राप्त कर लिया है और अपनी चेतना या स्मृति को उसी में स्थिर रखा है, वह परमात्मा के दरबार में पहुँच जाता है। वहाँ पहुँचकर वह अपने वास्तविक स्वरूप, उस शुद्ध आत्मा को देखता है जो सदैव वहीं विराजमान थी।

There, the seeker discovers their true essence—the eternal Soul—which has always resided in that sacred presence.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि शारीरिक मृत्यु से पहले अहंकार की मृत्यु होना सबसे उत्तम है। जो व्यक्ति जीवित रहते हुए अपने 'मैं' या अहंकार को मिटा देता है, वह वास्तव में जन्म और मृत्यु के चक्र से मुक्त होकर शाश्वत सत्य या अमरता को प्राप्त कर लेता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the most beneficial death is the dissolution of the ego while still inhabiting the physical body. One who manages to 'die' to their false identity and pride before the physical end achieves a state of timelessness, becoming immortal through union with the Eternal Truth.
