अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मानव जीवन अत्यंत दुर्लभ और अनमोल है, क्योंकि यह बार-बार प्राप्त नहीं होता। जिस प्रकार एक पका हुआ फल जब एक बार पेड़ की डाली से टूटकर गिर जाता है, तो वह दोबारा कभी उस डाली से नहीं जुड़ सकता, उसी प्रकार यह जीवन एक बार समाप्त होने पर पुनः उसी अवस्था में नहीं मिलता।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that human birth is an exceedingly rare and precious opportunity that does not recur easily. He uses the metaphor of a ripe fruit: once it falls from the branch, it can never re-attach itself to the tree. Similarly, once this fleeting human life passes, the opportunity for spiritual liberation is lost.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य बाहरी उपहारों और भेंटों से अपनी गोद भर लेता है और मन में धैर्य रखने का ढोंग करता है। परंतु वे प्रश्न करते हैं कि परमात्मा या सत्य से मिलन कैसे संभव है, जब तक कि व्यक्ति के भीतर 'दो शरीर' यानी द्वैत का भाव मौजूद है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that humans fill their arms with material offerings and pretend to possess patience in their hearts. अर्थ: कबीर इस संसार रूपी भयानक सागर से पार उतरने के लिए विनम्र प्रार्थना कर रहे हैं। वे कहते हैं कि जब परमात्मा की कृपा और आंतरिक शक्ति का जोर मनुष्य पर होता है, तभी वह जन्म और मृत्यु के इस अंतहीन चक्र से मुक्ति पाकर उस परम सत्ता (गुसाईं) में विलीन हो सकता है।

Meaning: Kabir offers a humble prayer to cross the formidable ocean of worldly existence. He asserts that only when the divine will and spiritual strength prevail over the individual, can one break the shackles of the cycle of birth and death to merge with the Eternal Master.

Meaning: Kabir suggests that one who is departing from this world or leaving your life should be allowed to go without clinging. Life is likened to a boatman's vessel where passengers are transient.
