Meaning: Kabir declares himself to be a humble dog of the Divine (Ram), calling himself 'Mutiya' (a common pet name). He describes having a leash around his neck held by the Divine; wherever the Master pulls the string, he follows without resistance, signifying total surrender.

Meaning: Kabir suggests that if someone repeatedly insults or rejects him, he will simply distance himself from them without conflict. He advocates for a state of total surrender to the Divine Will (Hari), accepting whatever life circumstances and sustenance the Creator provides with absolute contentment and equanimity.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that as long as the heart lacks genuine faith and the essence of divine love, and as long as the physical existence lacks the proper spiritual alignment, one cannot know the Beloved. Without the alchemy of love, it is impossible to be dyed in the eternal color of the Divine.

Meaning: Kabir declares his absolute surrender to the Omnipotent Divine, asserting that under the shelter of the Almighty, no endeavor remains fruitless and no need goes unmet. He suggests that even if a devotee appears destitute or stripped of worldly possessions, the grace of the Divine transforms their existence into something as precious and luminous as the mythical philosopher's stone, ensuring their spiritual dignity remains intact.

Meaning: Kabir urges the seeker to hold the Supreme Lord not as a distant deity, but as an intimate companion. Just as one relishes a feast of six diverse flavors (Shat Ras) and never wishes to leave such a satisfying meal, the devotion to the Divine should be so flavorful and fulfilling that the soul never desires to be separated from the Eternal Presence.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the individual who remains anchored in the center of their own being—the core of the soul—crosses the turbulent ocean of worldly existence without delay. Conversely, those who are entangled in dualities, external rituals, and the fragmentation of the self, inevitably sink into the depths of this illusory world.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that as long as the fire of desires and cravings burns within the heart, one cannot find true peace. This internal blaze keeps the soul restless, making the individual feel lost and alienated even amidst the vastness of the earth and sky, because their faith is anchored in external dependencies rather than the inner Self.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the Ultimate Truth is found neither in the light of day, nor in the depths of night, nor within the fleeting realms of dreams. It is only in that state of absolute surrender, where the burden of the ego and worldly pride is completely relinquished, that the Divine is realized.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the path to ultimate truth is so treacherous and steep that even the most learned scholars and the entire world have failed to navigate it, falling away in their attempts. However, through the grace and guidance of the Guru, Kabir has successfully ascended and now resides upon that peak of consciousness which remains inaccessible to the ego-driven mind.

Meaning: Kabir proclaims that through the grace of the True Guru, the longing for celestial cities or the illusory rewards of heaven has vanished. He now dwells within the blissful currents of the Guru's lotus feet, where the distinctions of beginning and end dissolve into a state of eternal, timeless presence.
