अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि राजसी सुख और धन-संपत्ति प्राप्त करने के बाद मनुष्य अहंकार क्यों करता है? याद रखो कि जो अंततः तुम्हारे पड़ोसी या अन्य मनुष्यों की नियति है, वही तुम्हारी भी नियति होगी। मृत्यु और विनाश अटल हैं, इसलिए भौतिक श्रेष्ठता का गर्व व्यर्थ है।

Meaning: Kabir asks why one harbors pride after acquiring royal power and wealth. He reminds us that the fate awaiting our neighbor—death and decay—is the exact same fate that awaits us. Since the end is universal, clinging to material superiority is a futile exercise in vanity.
