अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि वह व्यक्ति ही वास्तव में आध्यात्मिक आनंद के नृत्य में लीन हो सकता है जिसने अपने गुरु के प्रति पूर्ण और निस्वार्थ प्रेम को सिद्ध किया है। बिना गुरु के प्रेम और मार्गदर्शन के, जीवन में न तो वास्तविक कुशलता है और न ही आंतरिक शांति या आध्यात्मिक कल्याण संभव है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that only the one who has cultivated a profound and unwavering love for the Guru can truly experience the divine dance of spiritual ecstasy. Without the grace and love of the Guru, there is no true well-being, no inner peace, and no path to ultimate liberation in this existence.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि चाहे आकाश में चंद्रमा उगे या करोड़ों सूर्य एक साथ चमकें, वे केवल बाहरी अंधकार को मिटा सकते हैं। लेकिन आत्मा के भीतर जो अज्ञान का गहरा अंधेरा है, वह किसी भौतिक प्रकाश से नहीं, बल्कि केवल एक सच्चे गुरु के ज्ञान रूपी प्रकाश से ही नष्ट हो सकता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that even if the moon rises or millions of suns shine simultaneously, they can only dispel physical darkness. However, the profound darkness of ignorance residing within the soul cannot be erased by any material light; it can only be annihilated by the spiritual illumination provided by a true Guru.

अर्थ: इस दोहे में कबीर कहते हैं कि जो शिष्य अपने गुरु के प्रिय शब्दों को हृदयंगम करता है और पूर्ण समर्पण के साथ अपना शीश झुकाता है, उसके मन में गुरु के प्रति अटूट प्रेम जागृत होता है। ऐसा साधक सदैव गुरु के मार्गदर्शन में रहता है और कभी भी उनके सिद्धांतों या उनकी उपस्थिति से विमुख नहीं होता।

Meaning: In this couplet, Kabir emphasizes that a disciple who listens to the beloved words of the Guru with deep reverence and bows their head in total surrender develops an unbreakable love in their heart. अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि यदि कोई व्यक्ति केवल मानसिक रूप से समर्पण का दिखावा करता है या केवल सिर नवाता है, तो वह पर्याप्त नहीं है। सच्ची आध्यात्मिक प्रगति के लिए अपने संपूर्ण अस्तित्व और प्राणों का समर्पण आवश्यक है। बिना गुरु के निस्वार्थ प्रेम और मार्गदर्शन के, इस संसार में कहीं भी वास्तविक शांति, कल्याण या आध्यात्मिक सुरक्षा प्राप्त नहीं की जा सकती।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that mere mental gestures of submission or the superficial act of bowing one's head are insufficient. अर्थ: संसार रूपी इस विशाल और डरावने सागर के भय से बचने के लिए, केवल सद्गुरु का हाथ थामना ही एकमात्र उपाय है। इस मोह-माया की तीव्र जलधारा में, जहाँ मनुष्य अपनी वासनाओं और अज्ञानता में डूब रहा है, वहाँ गुरु के मार्गदर्शन के बिना कोई भी व्यक्ति स्वयं को पार नहीं लगा सकता।

Meaning: To escape the terror of the vast ocean of worldly existence, one must firmly grasp the hand of a true spiritual master. In the torrential currents of illusion and desire, where the soul is perpetually drowning, there is no one capable of rescuing the seeker from these depths except the Guru.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब गुरु ने ज्ञान रूपी अंजन (काजल या औषधि) लगाया, तो मन की अज्ञानता पूरी तरह समाप्त हो गई। ऐसे गुरु पर मैं न्योछावर हूँ, जिन्होंने मेरी आत्मा रूपी हंस को सांसारिक मोह-माया के गहरे दलदल से बाहर निकाल लिया और उसे मुक्ति दिलाई।

Meaning: Kabir proclaims that when the Guru applied the medicinal salve of true knowledge, the darkness of ignorance vanished. He expresses profound gratitude and surrender to the Guru, who rescued the soul—symbolized as a swan—from the murky depths of worldly attachment and illusion, guiding it toward ultimate liberation.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य सांसारिक मोह-माया और बाहरी आडंबरों के पीछे छिपकर अपने जीवन की वास्तविक पूंजी—समय और सत्य—की चोरी करता है। वह सोचता है कि बाहरी दिखावे या धार्मिक पाखंड की ओट में वह बच जाएगा, लेकिन जब समय का कठोर प्रहार (मृत्यु या न्याय) आता है, तब कोई भी बाहरी आवरण उसे बचा नहीं सकता।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that humans steal from their own spiritual destiny by hiding behind the veil of worldly attachments and outward religious pretenses. One believes that these superficial masks provide a sanctuary, but when the relentless strike of Time—represented by death or ultimate accountability—arrives, no external facade can offer protection or salvation.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि वह व्यक्ति अत्यंत विवश और बेचारा है जो अपने भीतर अहंकार, मोह और अज्ञान की गाँठें बाँधे रखता है। जिस प्रकार गंदे कपड़े को जब तक पानी से धोया न जाए, वह साफ नहीं हो सकता, उसी प्रकार बिना आंतरिक शुद्धि के आत्मा उज्ज्वल नहीं हो सकती।

Meaning: Kabir laments the plight of the soul that clings to the knots of ego, attachment, and ignorance. Just as a soiled cloth cannot become clean without the purifying touch of water, the human spirit cannot attain luminosity and purity as long as it harbors internal contradictions and spiritual obstructions.

अर्थ: सच्चा आध्यात्मिक बोध या सत्य-भाव वही है जो आत्मा और परमात्मा के बीच के वास्तविक भेद और फिर उनके अद्वैत संबंध को स्पष्ट कर सके। वह व्यक्ति अत्यंत सौभाग्यशाली और धन्य है जिसे इस परम सत्य का ज्ञान प्राप्त हो गया है, क्योंकि यह बोध जन्म-मरण के चक्र से मुक्ति का एकमात्र मार्ग है।

Meaning: True spiritual realization or 'Satbhav' is that which reveals the actual distinction between the individual soul and the Divine, and subsequently their ultimate unity. Blessed is the head and the destiny of that seeker who attains this profound awareness, for such knowledge is the only key to liberation from the cycle of existence.
