अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि एक सच्चा साधु, एक पवित्र स्त्री (सती) और एक वीर योद्धा इन तीनों की यह विशेषता है कि वे अपने सिद्धांतों और सत्य के मार्ग से कभी पीछे नहीं हटते। यदि इनमें से कोई भी अपने संकल्प से विचलित होकर वापस लौट आता है, तो वह समाज और स्वयं की दृष्टि में सम्मान खो देता है और उसका चेहरा देखने योग्य नहीं रहता।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that a true seeker, a virtuous soul, and a brave warrior share a common trait: they never retreat from their path of truth and righteousness. If any of these three, having embarked on their spiritual or moral journey, turn back or abandon their resolve, they lose their integrity and become unworthy of respect in the eyes of the world and the self.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो व्यक्ति स्वयं को साधु (पवित्र), सती (निष्ठावान) या शूरवीर (साहसी) मानकर अहंकार में डूबा रहता है और दूसरों को नीचा दिखाता है, वह वास्तव में आध्यात्मिक पतन की ओर है। ईश्वर की शपथ लेकर वे कहते हैं कि ऐसा अहंकार विनाशकारी है।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि एक सच्चे साधु, एक पतिव्रता स्त्री और एक शेर की असली शोभा उनके संयम और मर्यादा में है। जिस प्रकार शेर छोटे जीवों या मामूली शिकारों पर अपनी शक्ति व्यर्थ नहीं करता, उसी प्रकार एक आत्म-ज्ञानी साधु कभी भी सांसारिक लोभ या लालच के बंधन में नहीं बंधता।

Just as a lion does not waste its majesty by hunting insignificant prey, a realized saint remains untouched and unbound by the petty lures of worldly greed and material desire.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि संत, पतिव्रता और वीर योद्धाओं का मार्ग अत्यंत गहरा और कठिन होता है। इनमें से वे व्यक्ति सबसे अधिक सिद्ध या साधित होते हैं, जिन्होंने शरीर के प्रति मोह और भौतिक इच्छाओं का पूर्णतः त्याग कर दिया है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the paths of the saint, the virtuous spouse, and the brave warrior are unfathomably deep. Among them, those who have completely relinquished their attachment to the physical body and worldly desires are the ones who have achieved the highest spiritual attainment.

अर्थ: जब मनुष्य का भाव भ्रमित होता है और उसकी एकाग्रता (सुरति) एक तीर की तरह अस्थिर हो जाती है, तब उसे धैर्य रखकर आत्म-निरीक्षण करना चाहिए। जिस बिंदु पर मन की पकड़ या अहंकार की जड़ें सबसे गहरी होती हैं, वास्तव में आध्यात्मिक चोट या पीड़ा वहीं महसूस होती है, क्योंकि वहीं अज्ञानता का केंद्र है।

Meaning: When one's emotional state is clouded and attention becomes as erratic as a flying arrow, one must exercise patience in the process of spiritual churning. The pain we feel is not external; it is located exactly where the grip of the mind's ego is tightest, marking the precise spot where our ignorance resides.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो लोग केवल दरबारी बातों, बाहरी दिखावे और शब्दों के जाल में उलझे रहते हैं, वे कभी उस परम सत्य या मोक्ष के धाम को प्राप्त नहीं कर सकते। उस परम अवस्था तक पहुँचने के लिए अहंकार का पूर्ण त्याग (शीश उतारना) आवश्यक है; बिना स्वयं के मिथ्या अहंकार को मिटाए कोई अन्य प्रयास व्यर्थ है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that those who dwell in the superficial rhetoric of the court—meaning the vanity of social status, intellectual pride, and external rituals—can never attain the ultimate abode of Truth. To reach that divine state, one must 'behead' the ego; the total annihilation of the false self is the only prerequisite for spiritual liberation.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब तक मनुष्य अपने अहंकार रूपी सिर को सुरक्षित रखता है, वह वास्तव में आध्यात्मिक मृत्यु की ओर बढ़ता है। लेकिन जब वह इस अहंकार का विसर्जन कर देता है, तब वह वास्तविक आत्म-साक्षात्कार प्राप्त करता है। जैसे दीपक की बाती जलकर स्वयं को समाप्त करती है, तभी वह चारों ओर प्रकाश फैला पाती है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that as long as a person clings to the 'head' of ego, they are drifting toward spiritual oblivion. Only by 'beheading' or annihilating this ego can one truly exist in the divine presence. Much like the wick of a lamp must be consumed by fire to illuminate the darkness, the self must be sacrificed to reveal the inner light.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब तक जीवन में सुख और शांति का समय था, मनुष्य ने आध्यात्मिक साधना की उपेक्षा की। लेकिन अब जब मृत्यु का युद्ध (संग्राम) सामने खड़ा है, तब उसे बोध होता है कि केवल आत्म-समर्पण और परमात्मा की भक्ति ही उसे इस संकट से बचा सकती है। अब वह बर्तन (शरीर/अहंकार) जिसे वह संजोता था, प्रभु के चरणों में समर्पित करने का समय आ गया है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that while the season of comfort and peace lasted, the human soul neglected spiritual awakening. Now, as the fierce battle of death and finality arrives, the realization dawns that only total surrender to the Divine can provide refuge. The vessel of the self, once guarded with pride, must now be offered entirely at the feet of the Eternal Truth.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि आध्यात्मिक मुक्ति पाने के लिए व्यक्ति को अपने अहंकार (शीश) का पूर्ण त्याग करना होगा और शरीर के मोह को एक मिट्टी के ढेले की तरह त्याग देना होगा। केवल वही सच्चा वीर कहलाएगा जो इस मायावी संसार के मोह को छोड़कर अपनी आत्मा के वास्तविक घर (परमात्मा) में वापस लौटने का साहस दिखाएगा।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that to achieve spiritual liberation, one must decisively sever the head of the ego and cast away the physical body's attachment as if it were a mere lump of clay. Only the truly courageous soul, who transcends the illusions of the material world, will be recognized as a spiritual warrior capable of returning to the eternal home of the Divine.
