अर्थ: यदि व्यक्ति को अपने गंतव्य (परमात्मा या सत्य) का नाम और पता नहीं है, तो वह जीवन के मार्ग में भटक जाएगा। जब समय का चक्र चलेगा और दुखों के कांटे चुभेंगे, तब वह असहाय होकर केवल विलाप करेगा क्योंकि उसने सही दिशा का ज्ञान प्राप्त नहीं किया था।

Meaning: If one does not know the name or the location of their true destination (the Divine or Truth), they will inevitably lose their way in the journey of life. When the inevitable hour of reckoning arrives and the thorns of suffering pierce the soul, the ignorant will find themselves helpless and overwhelmed by agony.

अर्थ: यह शरीर पाँच तत्वों (पृथ्वी, जल, अग्नि, वायु और आकाश) के मेल से बना है और अंततः इसी प्रकृति में विलीन हो जाएगा। मनुष्य स्वयं को कर्ता मानता है, परंतु वास्तव में वह अपने पूर्व संचित कर्मों के अधीन है, और यही कर्म उसके जीवन और मृत्यु के चक्र को निर्धारित करते हैं।

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि जैसे कोई पर्वत की चोटी पर हवाओं के बीच रहने का प्रयास करे या बिना किसी साधन के गाँव तक पहुँचने की कोशिश करे, वैसे ही वह व्यक्ति मूर्ख है जो बिना साधना और बिना 'फूल' (गुरु या ज्ञान) के 'रस' (ईश्वर या मोक्ष) की इच्छा रखता है। बिना पौधे के फूल नहीं आता और बिना फूल के भंवरा रस नहीं पा सकता।

Meaning: Kabir explains that seeking spiritual liberation without the necessary foundation is as futile as expecting a breeze to carry one atop a mountain or reaching a village without a mount.
