अर्थ: कबीर दास जी इस दोहे में गिरते हुए पत्तों के माध्यम से जीवन की नश्वरता का वर्णन कर रहे हैं। वे कहते हैं कि झड़ते हुए पत्ते वृक्ष से विदा लेते हुए कह रहे हैं कि अब जब हम एक बार अलग हो गए, तो फिर कभी नहीं मिलेंगे, क्योंकि हम बहुत दूर चले जाएंगे। यह विरह जीवन के अंत और मृत्यु की अटल सच्चाई को दर्शाता है।

Meaning: Kabir uses the metaphor of falling leaves to describe the transience of existence. The leaves, as they detach from the tree, lament that once they are separated, they shall never reunite, for they are destined to drift far away. अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो व्यक्ति केवल अपने स्वार्थ और भौतिक लाभ की खोज में रहता है, वह अंतहीन इच्छाओं के जाल में फंसकर और अधिक गहरे संकटों में डूबता जाता है। इसके विपरीत, जो व्यक्ति पूरी तरह से निष्काम है और सांसारिक मोह-माया से मुक्त होकर उस निराकार ईश्वर में लीन है, उसे दुनिया का कोई भी बंधन या मोह पकड़ नहीं सकता।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that those who strive greedily for worldly possessions and sensory pleasures only succeed in entangling themselves further in the web of Maya. Conversely, only the one who becomes truly detached (Nisprehi) and relinquishes all reliance on material anchors can truly realize and reach the Formless Divine, the protector of the humble.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that if a person's mind is divided between worldly attachments and spiritual pursuit, they will fail in both endeavors. One who attempts to walk two opposing paths simultaneously—clinging to material desires while pretending to seek the Divine—ends up losing both; they achieve neither worldly success nor spiritual liberation.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि दुनिया के अधिकांश लोग ईश्वर या दूसरों की सेवा केवल अपने स्वार्थ और व्यक्तिगत लाभ के लिए करते हैं। लेकिन वह व्यक्ति जो बिना किसी इच्छा या लालच के, निस्वार्थ भाव से भक्ति करता है, वही वास्तव में परमात्मा को प्रिय होता है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that most people in the world engage in service or devotion to the Divine solely for the sake of personal gain and selfish motives. However, the one who practices devotion without any expectation or desire for reward is the one who is truly beloved by the Creator.

In contrast, the true seeker is one who is dedicated to 'Paramarth'—the supreme altruism and universal truth—having completely relinquished all attachments and hopes tied to the physical body and worldly desires.

The path of true spiritual essence or 'Parmarth' (the ultimate truth) is exceedingly rare, and in this age of Kali, those who genuinely seek the Divine without selfish motives are few and far between.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब आपको परमात्मा या सत्य रूपी दुर्लभ रत्न प्राप्त हो जाए, तो उसे कभी न छोड़ें। स्वार्थ से प्रेरित प्रेम एक फूल की तरह क्षणभंगुर होता है, जो खिलने से पहले ही मुरझा जाता है या जिसे समय से पहले तोड़ लिया जाता है, जबकि निस्वार्थ भक्ति शाश्वत है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that once you have attained the rare jewel of Divine Truth or God-realization, you must never turn your back on it. Love driven by selfishness is like a fragile flower that withers quickly or a bud that is prematurely plucked, whereas selfless devotion is eternal and unchanging.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि सांसारिक मित्र और साथी केवल स्वार्थ से बंधे होते हैं; जब व्यक्ति संकट या दुख में होता है, तो वे साथ छोड़ देते हैं। इसके विपरीत, वह परमात्मा (परमारथी) जो परम सत्य है, वह व्यक्ति की हर स्थिति में—चाहे वह सुख हो या दुख—सदैव उसके साथ उपस्थित रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir explains that worldly companions are driven by self-interest and vanish during times of adversity. In stark contrast, the Divine (Paramarthi), the Ultimate Truth, remains eternally present and steadfast, accompanying the soul through every fluctuation of joy and sorrow without condition.
