अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि मैं अपनी इच्छाओं और आशाओं को ही अग्नि का ईंधन बना रहा हूँ और अपनी मानसिक कामनाओं को ही भस्म (विभूति) के रूप में धारण कर रहा हूँ। जिस प्रकार एक योगी संसार का त्याग कर घूमता है, मैं अपनी आंतरिक यात्रा के माध्यम से अपनी वासनाओं को जलाकर आत्मा के शुद्ध सूत को अलग कर रहा हूँ।

Meaning: Kabir declares that he uses his desires and hopes as fuel for the internal fire of consciousness, turning his mental cravings into sacred ash. अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि अपने मन के अहंकार और वासनाओं को पूरी तरह नष्ट कर दो, क्योंकि जब तक मन के टुकड़े नहीं होंगे, सत्य का उदय नहीं होगा। यदि आपने अपने जीवन में विष रूपी द्वेष और मोह की क्यारियाँ बोई हैं, तो अब फसल काटते समय पछताने का कोई लाभ नहीं है।

We failed to master the material world and failed to realize the spiritual realm, spending our entire existence wandering in illusion and wasting the precious opportunity of human birth.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य का ध्यान बाहरी दुनिया में है, जबकि उसकी आंतरिक चेतना सोई हुई है। जैसे एक बहरा रखवाला खेत की रखवाली करता है और पक्षी फसल खा जाते हैं, वैसे ही अज्ञानता के कारण हमारा जीवन व्यर्थ बीत रहा है। यदि समय रहते जागृत नहीं हुए, तो जीवन का अधिकांश हिस्सा नष्ट हो जाएगा।

Meaning: Kabir warns that the human consciousness is often asleep while the mind is distracted by external illusions. Like a deaf sentinel guarding a field while birds devour the crop, we allow our spiritual essence to be consumed by worldly desires. अर्थ: बाहरी आडंबरों और गहनों से मन की शुद्धि नहीं होती। जब व्यक्ति अपने मन के भीतर की माला फेरता है, अर्थात आंतरिक चेतना को जाग्रत करता है, तभी वास्तविक ज्ञान का प्रकाश फैलता है और संपूर्ण संसार आलोकित होता है।

Meaning: Adorning the body with external ornaments or rituals brings no spiritual progress. Only when one rotates the 'rosary of the mind'—cultivating internal awareness and mindfulness—does the true light of consciousness dawn, illuminating the entire existence.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि सिर के बालों को सौ बार मुंडवाने से क्या नुकसान होता है? बाहरी दिखावे में कोई हानि नहीं है, लेकिन असली समस्या मन के भीतर है। यदि हम अपने मन में बसे हुए विकारों, अहंकार और द्वेष को नहीं हटाते, तो बाहरी कर्मकांड व्यर्थ हैं।

Meaning: Kabir asks what harm is there in shaving the head a hundred times? External rituals of tonsure do not diminish the soul. However, the true challenge lies in 'shaving' the mind—removing the deep-seated impurities, poisons, and distortions of the ego that hinder spiritual growth.

अर्थ: यदि कोई व्यक्ति बाहरी रूप से धार्मिक या ज्ञानी दिखने का प्रयास करता है, लेकिन उसके भीतर विवेक और वास्तविक समझ का अभाव है, तो उस बाहरी दिखावे का कोई मूल्य नहीं है। तिलक लगाना या धार्मिक चिह्न धारण करना व्यर्थ है यदि मन अभी भी अज्ञान और पाखंड से भरा हुआ है।

Meaning: If a person attempts to appear religious or scholarly on the outside, yet lacks inner discernment and true understanding, such outward displays are meaningless. Applying a tilak or wearing religious symbols is futile if the mind remains clouded by ignorance and hypocrisy.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि सच्चा योद्धा वह नहीं है जो बाहरी शत्रुओं से लड़ता है, बल्कि वह है जो अपने मन के भीतर के संघर्षों का सामना करता है। जो व्यक्ति अपनी पांच इंद्रियों और मानसिक विकारों पर विजय प्राप्त कर लेता है, वह द्वैत (भेदभाव) को समाप्त कर परम सत्य का अनुभव करता है।

He who conquers the five sensory distractions and the internal fragments of the ego obliterates all duality, finally realizing the singular, non-dual Truth.
