अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि सद्गुरु अत्यंत दयालु होते हैं और वे सभी संतों तथा साधकों के मुख्य आधार स्तंभ हैं। यह संसार एक अथाह सागर की तरह है जिसमें मनुष्य मोह और माया के कारण डूबा रहता है, और केवल सद्गुरु की कृपा ही उसे इस संसार रूपी सागर से पार उतारकर मोक्ष दिला सकती है।

अर्थ: जो लोग गुरु को केवल एक साधारण मनुष्य समझते हैं, वे वास्तव में आध्यात्मिक रूप से अंधे हैं। ऐसा व्यक्ति इस संसार में निरंतर दुखों का सामना करता है और अंततः मृत्यु के पश्चात यमराज के दंड और जन्म-मृत्यु के चक्र के जाल में फंसा रहता है।

Meaning: Those who perceive the Guru as merely a human being are considered spiritually blind. Such individuals remain entangled in the sorrows of the worldly existence and, upon death, find themselves trapped in the snares of Yama, the lord of death, and the cycle of rebirth.

अर्थ: संसार के लोग केवल बाहरी चक्की (सांसारिक उपलब्धियों और शोर) की चर्चा करते हैं, लेकिन उस कीली (केंद्र बिंदु या ईश्वर) को नहीं देखते जो पूरी चक्की को थामे हुए है। जो व्यक्ति उस अदृश्य केंद्र या परमात्मा से जुड़ा रहता है, उसका जीवन सुरक्षित रहता है और उसे कोई कष्ट नहीं पहुँचता।

Meaning: Everyone speaks of the grinding stone and its outward rotation, yet none mention the central pivot—the pin that holds the entire mechanism together. He who remains firmly attached to this invisible center, the Divine Pivot, remains untouched by the turbulence of existence and suffers no harm.

अर्थ: संसार में प्रेम के अनेक रूप और प्रकार मौजूद हैं, जिनमें सांसारिक मोह और आसक्ति शामिल है। परंतु कबीर कहते हैं कि उन सबमें सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रेम वह है जो एक सच्चे गुरु (सतगुरु) के प्रति होता है, क्योंकि यही प्रेम आत्मा को परमात्मा से मिलाने का मार्ग प्रशस्त करता है।

Meaning: In this worldly existence, love manifests in countless forms and varieties, ranging from fleeting desires to deep emotional attachments. अर्थ: यह शरीर वासनाओं और अज्ञानता के विष से भरी एक बेल की तरह है, जबकि गुरु ज्ञान और मोक्ष के अमृत का अक्षय स्रोत हैं। यदि इस शरीर रूपी विषैली बेल से मुक्ति पाने के लिए या वास्तविक गुरु की प्राप्ति के लिए अपना शीश (अहंकार) भी त्यागना पड़े, तो भी यह सौदा बहुत सस्ता है क्योंकि इसके बदले में अनंत आध्यात्मिक स्वतंत्रता प्राप्त होती है।

Meaning: This physical body is like a vine laden with the poison of worldly desires and ignorance, whereas the Guru is an inexhaustible mine of the nectar of immortality. If one must sacrifice their head—symbolizing the ego—to find a true spiritual guide, it should be considered a bargain, for the reward is the eternal liberation of the soul from the cycle of suffering.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि यदि मैं पूरी पृथ्वी को कागज बना लूँ, संसार के सभी वनों की लकड़ियों से कलम बना लूँ और सातों समुद्रों के जल को स्याही बना लूँ, तब भी गुरु के गुणों और उनकी महिमा का वर्णन करना असंभव है। गुरु की कृपा अनंत और अवर्णनीय है।
