अर्थ: कबीर यहाँ धार्मिक पाखंड और बाहरी शुद्धता के ढोंग पर प्रहार कर रहे हैं। वे कहते हैं कि लोग बाहरी तौर पर तो पवित्रता का दिखावा करते हैं, लेकिन उनके भीतर गंदगी और अहंकार भरा है। वे कर्मकांडों में उलझे हैं, जबकि वास्तविक आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान और आंतरिक शुद्धि से वे कोसों दूर हैं।

Meaning: Kabir critiques the hypocrisy of outward ritual purity and religious pretension. He suggests that while people obsess over the cleanliness of their physical surroundings and ritual spaces, their inner selves remain cluttered with filth and ego. They cling to superficial traditions while ignoring the true path of spiritual purification.

अर्थ: कबीर यहाँ उन धार्मिक कट्टरपंथियों पर प्रहार कर रहे हैं जो ईश्वर को केवल बाहरी कर्मकांडों, विशेष ग्रंथों या किसी एक धर्म की जागीर मानते हैं। वे कहते हैं कि मुल्ला (या कोई भी धार्मिक गुरु) यह दावा करता है कि वह ईश्वर (करीम) का मार्ग जानता है, लेकिन वास्तव में ईश्वर का आदेश किसी बाहरी फरमान में नहीं, बल्कि प्रत्येक मनुष्य के हृदय के भीतर मौजूद है। ईश्वर का चिन्ह किसी मंदिर या मस्जिद में नहीं, बल्कि आत्मा के गहन केंद्र में व्याप्त है।

Meaning: Kabir critiques religious dogmatists who believe that God is the exclusive property of a specific faith or accessible only through external rituals. He asserts that the 'Mulla' or the priest claims to hold the decree of the Compassionate (Kareem), yet the true divine mandate does not arrive as an external proclamation. Instead, the sign of the Master (Sahab) is imprinted within the very core of every human being, making the search for God in external structures futile.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब तक काजी (धार्मिक गुरु) सांसारिक मोह और अहंकार के वश में था, तब तक वह मनुष्य और ईश्वर को अलग-अलग मानता था। लेकिन जब वह मस्जिद के ऊँचे मंच पर चढ़कर उपदेश देता है, तो वह कहता है कि ईश्वर एक है। कबीर प्रश्न करते हैं कि यदि वह वास्तव में एक है, तो फिर यह भेदभाव और दिखावा क्यों है?

Meaning: Kabir observes that as long as the Qazi (religious cleric) was immersed in worldly desires and ego, he perceived a duality between the soul and the Divine. However, upon ascending the pulpit of the mosque, he proclaims the unity of God. Kabir challenges this hypocrisy, asking why the truth of oneness is only preached from a position of power while lived experience remains fragmented.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि धार्मिक गुरु, काजी और मुल्ला सांसारिक मोह-माया और दिखावे के जाल में फंसे हुए हैं। वे ईश्वर की खोज के बजाय दुनिया की प्रशंसा और भौतिक सुखों के पीछे भाग रहे हैं। वास्तविक मुक्ति तब मिलती है जब हृदय की दीनता और अहंकार का अंत हो और मनुष्य वास्तव में परमात्मा के प्रति समर्पित होकर उसका हाथ थाम ले।

Meaning: Kabir observes that the religious authorities—the Qazis and Mullahs—are bewildered, drifting aimlessly in the current of worldly attachments. They pursue social prestige and material gain rather than spiritual truth. True liberation occurs only when the poverty of the heart (spiritual emptiness) is removed and one sincerely surrenders to the Divine, grasping the hand of the Eternal Truth.
