अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब मनुष्य सुख और समृद्धि में होता है, तब वह ईश्वर को भूल जाता है और केवल संकट आने पर उसे याद करता है। ऐसे स्वार्थी और अवसरवादी भक्त की पुकार ईश्वर नहीं सुनते क्योंकि उसमें सच्ची भक्ति का अभाव है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that humans tend to ignore the Divine during times of prosperity and comfort, only turning toward spirituality when gripped by suffering. He asserts that such opportunistic prayers, born of desperation rather than devotion, remain unanswered by the Eternal.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि हृदय की गहरी पीड़ा और आध्यात्मिक रिक्तता के लिए कोई वास्तविक उपचार नहीं मिला; जो उपचार मिला वह केवल शोर और दिखावा था। जब आत्मा का आकाश ही फट गया हो, तो कोई सांसारिक दर्जी या बाहरी गुरु उसे कैसे सिल सकता है? यह बाहरी समाधानों की व्यर्थता को दर्शाता है।

Meaning: Kabir laments that no true balm was found for the aching heart; whatever was encountered was merely loud, superficial noise. He posits a profound paradox: when the very sky of one's existence has torn asunder, how can a mere earthly tailor—representing ritualists or superficial teachers—possibly stitch it back together?

अर्थ: जब आत्मा परमात्मा से अलग होने के गहरे दुख और विरह की अग्नि में जलती है, तो वह शरीर के भीतर एक विशाल सर्प की तरह बस जाती है। इस आध्यात्मिक पीड़ा का कोई सांसारिक उपचार या मंत्र काम नहीं करता। जो वास्तव में ईश्वर के प्रेम में विरही है, वह या तो जीवित नहीं रह पाता, और यदि जीवित रहता है, तो दुनिया की नजरों में वह पागल हो जाता है क्योंकि उसका मन अब इस भौतिक जगत में नहीं रहा।

Meaning: When the soul burns in the profound agony of separation from the Divine, this longing resides within the body like a venomous serpent. No worldly remedy or ritualistic mantra can cure this spiritual ache. One who is truly estranged from the Divine cannot endure the pain of existence; if they survive, they appear mad to the world, for their consciousness has transcended the mundane reality of the physical plane.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब मनुष्य सांसारिक सुखों की नींद में सोया रहता है, तब उसे वास्तविक आध्यात्मिक जागृति की नींद नहीं आती। यह स्थिति उस मछली के समान है जो जल से अलग हो गई है और पूरी रात तड़पती रहती है, क्योंकि जल ही उसका एकमात्र जीवन आधार था।

Meaning: Kabir explains that while one is slumbering in the illusion of worldly pleasures, the true sleep of spiritual peace remains elusive. He compares this state to a fish cast out of water, spending the entire night in agony, for water was its only source of existence and survival.

अर्थ: जब मनुष्य सुख और समृद्धि के शिखर पर होता है, तो वह अक्सर ईश्वर के नाम और आध्यात्मिक जागरूकता को भूल जाता है। इसके विपरीत, दुःख और कष्ट मनुष्य को विनम्र बनाते हैं और उसे निरंतर परमात्मा के स्मरण की ओर ले जाते हैं। इसलिए, वह दुःख वंदनीय है जो हमें ईश्वर से जोड़ता है।

Meaning: When a person is atop the peak of worldly pleasure and prosperity, the remembrance of the Divine often slips from the heart. Conversely, suffering and adversity humble the soul, compelling it to chant the Divine name incessantly. Thus, that specific pain is worthy of sacrifice and gratitude because it serves as the catalyst for spiritual awakening.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब मनुष्य दुख और संकट में होता है, तब वह ईश्वर को याद करता है, लेकिन सुख और समृद्धि के समय वह उसे पूरी तरह भूल जाता है। यदि हम सुख की अवस्था में भी उसी निरंतरता के साथ परमात्मा का स्मरण करें, तो जीवन में दुख का आगमन ही नहीं होगा या वह हमें विचलित नहीं कर पाएगा।

Meaning: Kabir observes that humanity instinctively turns toward the Divine only during times of distress and agony, yet completely forgets the Source during periods of joy and prosperity. He posits that if one maintains a constant state of remembrance and mindfulness during happiness, the very nature of suffering would cease to exist or lose its power over the soul.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि उस शब्द या नाद का उच्चारण करो जिससे सारे दुख समाप्त हो जाएं। वह शब्द जो आत्मा के भीतर की तपन और मानसिक संताप को मिटाकर शीतलता प्रदान करे, वही वास्तव में सत्य का सार है और वास्तविक ज्ञान है।

Meaning: Kabir urges the seeker to utter that sacred Word or Sound which eradicates all suffering. The vibration that extinguishes the burning heat of worldly agony and brings a profound inner coolness is the true essence of reality and the ultimate spiritual truth.

अर्थ: जिस व्यक्ति ने माया के मोह और सांसारिक भ्रम का पूरी तरह से त्याग कर दिया है, उसका अहंकार और अज्ञानता पूरी तरह समाप्त हो गए हैं। ऐसे व्यक्ति के जीवन से सभी मानसिक और आध्यात्मिक दुख दूर हो जाते हैं, क्योंकि वह अब सत्य के साथ एकाकार हो चुका है।

Meaning: The one who has completely renounced the illusions of Maya and the attachments of the material world has seen their ego dissolve entirely. For such a person, all forms of suffering vanish and flee, as they have aligned themselves with the ultimate, unchanging Truth.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य दुख को आमंत्रित नहीं करता, फिर भी वह अचानक और अनपेक्षित रूप से आ जाता है। जब व्यक्ति सुख के मोह में अंधा होकर उसका पहरा लगाने लगता है, तब वह यह भूल जाता है कि सुख क्षणभंगुर है और दुख का आगमन निश्चित है, जो अंततः सुख को विदा कर देता है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that while a human never consciously seeks out suffering, it arrives unbidden and unexpectedly. When one becomes obsessed with guarding and clinging to fleeting pleasure, they fail to realize that such attachment is an illusion, and sorrow will inevitably march in to displace the temporary joy.

अर्थ: जो व्यक्ति उस निराकार राम के विरह में व्याकुल है, उसका शरीर अत्यंत संवेदनशील हो गया है। कोई भी उसे व्यर्थ में दुखी न करे या उसे स्पर्श करने का प्रयास न करे, क्योंकि वह इस समय एक ऐसी नाजुक स्थिति में है जैसे कोई कोमल बेल हो, जिसे हल्का सा छूने पर भी वह मुरझा सकती है या टूट सकती है।

Meaning: The one who is consumed by the agony of separation from the Formless Ram possesses a body rendered hypersensitive by longing. Let no one cause them further distress or touch them harshly, for they have become as fragile as a tender vine; even a slight touch could lead to their spiritual or physical collapse in the intensity of their devotion.
