मोक्ष (Final Destination) — Kabir Dohas

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिस प्रकार एक हंस प्यास बुझाने के बाद सरोवर को छोड़कर आगे बढ़ जाता है, उसी प्रकार यह शरीर भी एक दिन खाली हो जाएगा और आत्मा इस संसार को त्याग देगी। संतों, यह सत्य जान लो कि जिस द्वार से हम इस संसार में आए हैं, अंततः हमें उसी द्वार से वापस लौटना है।

Meaning: Kabir explains that just as a swan departs from a lake after quenching its thirst, the physical body will eventually become void and the soul will leave this world. He urges the seekers to realize that the same gateway through which we entered this earthly existence is the only exit we shall eventually traverse.

अर्थ: परमब्रह्म ने ज्ञान रूपी मोतियों की एक माला पिरोई और उसे अपने शिष्यों के गले में डाल दिया। उन्होंने लगभग सभी मोतियों को चुन लिया, लेकिन कुछ मोती नीचे गिर गए या छूट गए, जो उन लोगों का प्रतीक हैं जिन्होंने इस सत्य को नहीं पहचाना।

Meaning: The Supreme Absolute (Parabrahma) has strung together a necklace of pearls, representing divine wisdom, and bestowed it upon the seekers. While most of the pearls were gathered and integrated, a few remained scattered or missed, symbolizing those souls who failed to realize the eternal truth.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मैं इस अहंकारपूर्ण शरीर को जलाकर राख कर देना चाहता हूँ, ताकि उसकी राख और धुआँ आकाश की ऊँचाइयों तक पहुँच जाए। वे प्रार्थना करते हैं कि परमात्मा की दया बरसें और इस आंतरिक अहंकार की अग्नि को शांत कर दे, जिससे केवल शुद्ध आत्मा शेष रहे।

Meaning: Kabir expresses a profound desire to incinerate the ego-driven physical identity, reducing it to ashes so that the remnants may ascend toward the divine. He pleads for the grace of the Formless Lord to descend as a cooling rain, extinguishing the scorching fire of worldly attachment and pride.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि उन्होंने सीमाओं और द्वैत की दुनिया को त्यागकर उस असीम, अनंत परमात्मा में प्रवेश कर लिया है। उन्होंने 'शून्य' (परम शांति और रिक्तता) में स्नान किया है, जहाँ मन की सारी अशुद्धियाँ धुल गई हैं। यह वह उच्च आध्यात्मिक अवस्था है जहाँ साधारण तपस्वी या ज्ञानी भी नहीं पहुँच पाते, और वहीं आत्मा ने अपना अंतिम और शाश्वत विश्राम पाया है।

Meaning: Kabir proclaims that he has transcended the boundaries of the finite world to merge with the Infinite. He has bathed in the 'Shunya' (the Great Void), cleansing himself of all worldly impurities and dualities. This is a state of supreme consciousness that even the most learned sages struggle to attain, and it is here that the soul has finally found its eternal and absolute rest.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह बहुत अच्छा हुआ कि मैं पूरी तरह टूट गया और मेरा अहंकार नष्ट हो गया, जिससे मेरी पुरानी मानसिक अवस्था और झूठी पहचान मिट गई। जैसे बर्फ पिघलकर पानी बन जाती है और अंततः अपनी मूल धारा या सागर में मिल जाती है, वैसे ही मेरा सीमित व्यक्तित्व विलीन होकर उस अनंत परमात्मा में समा गया।

Meaning: Kabir proclaims that it was a blessing to be utterly broken, for in that collapse, the false state of the ego and all previous delusions vanished. Just as ice melts into water and eventually flows back to merge with its original source, the limited individual identity dissolved to unite with the Infinite Divine.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब ज्ञान की वर्षा होती है, तो जीवन में अमृत बरसता है और साधारण पत्थर भी हीरे में बदल जाते हैं। जैसे टकसाल में सिक्के ढाले जाते हैं, वैसे ही साधना से आत्मा कुंदन बन जाती है। कबीर, जो एक जलाहा (कुम्हार/चर्मकार) थे, अपनी आंतरिक शुद्धि और अनहद नाद के अनुभव से पारस बन गए और संसार के मोह-माया के सागर को पार कर गए।

Meaning: Kabir proclaims that when the rain of divine knowledge descends, nectar showers upon the soul and ordinary stones are transformed into diamonds. Just as a mint transforms raw metal into coins, spiritual discipline refines the soul into pure gold. Kabir, though born into the humble caste of a leather-worker, became like the mythical philosopher's stone (Paarashu) through the experience of the unstruck sound (Anhad), ultimately crossing the ocean of worldly existence.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि सतगुरु की कृपा से अब मुझे स्वर्ग जैसे बाहरी सुखों और काल्पनिक नगरों की कोई लालसा नहीं रही। मैं अब अपने गुरु के चरण कमलों की आनंदमयी लहरों में लीन हूँ, जहाँ अंत और आदि का भेद समाप्त हो गया है और केवल शाश्वत शांति शेष है।

Meaning: Kabir proclaims that through the grace of the True Guru, the longing for celestial cities or the illusory rewards of heaven has vanished. He now dwells within the blissful currents of the Guru's lotus feet, where the distinctions of beginning and end dissolve into a state of eternal, timeless presence.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यदि मनुष्य अपने जीवन में 'राम नाम' (परमात्मा के स्मरण) का बीज बोता है और उसे भक्ति से सींचता है, तो वह एक विशाल वृक्ष की तरह फलदायी होता है। अंत समय में यदि शरीर सूखकर गिर भी जाए, तो भी वह आध्यात्मिक निवेश कभी व्यर्थ नहीं जाता; उसकी सार्थकता शाश्वत रहती है।

Meaning: Kabir suggests that if a person plants the seed of 'Ram Naam' (divine remembrance) and nurtures it with devotion, it grows into a flourishing tree. Even when the physical body eventually withers and dies in the end, the spiritual fruit of that practice never vanishes; it remains an eternal asset for the soul.

अर्थ: जब मेरा अहंकार पूरी तरह नष्ट हो गया, तब मैं वास्तव में मुक्त हो गया और मुझे उस निराकार ब्रह्म पर अटूट विश्वास प्राप्त हुआ। अब मेरे जीवन में किसी अन्य सांसारिक सहारे या इच्छा की आवश्यकता नहीं रही; मेरी एकमात्र आशा और शरण अब केवल उस परमात्मा में है।

Meaning: When my ego was completely annihilated, I attained true liberation and gained an unwavering faith in the Formless Brahman. Now, there remains no need for any other worldly support or desire in my life; my sole hope and refuge lie exclusively in the Divine.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जिसने अपनी आंतरिक अग्नि (आरणि) को प्रज्वलित कर लिया है और सांसारिक मोह-माया के शोर को पीछे छोड़ दिया है, वही वास्तव में वीर है। जब मनुष्य अपने अहंकार का त्याग कर परमात्मा के साथ एकाकार हो जाता है, तब वह उस शाश्वत सत्य को प्राप्त कर लेता है जो सदैव उसके भीतर और चारों ओर उपस्थित है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the true warrior is one who has ignited the internal fire of spiritual discipline and left the clamor of worldly attachments behind. By aligning oneself with the Eternal Truth and dissolving the ego, the seeker becomes one with the Divine, realizing that the Presence of the Almighty is constant and omnipresent.
