Meaning: Kabir suggests that one must speak only after careful deliberation, weighing the impact of every word. Similarly, one should be mindful of their posture and the space they occupy. He asserts that the seeker or servant who masters this conscious awareness of speech and presence will never face spiritual or worldly defeat, nor will they succumb to the agony of regret.

Meaning: Kabir emphasizes the immense power of the spoken word. One word can be a mine of eternal bliss and joy, while another can be a mountain of sorrow. A single word of truth or divine remembrance can sever the shackles of worldly bondage, whereas a word born of ego or malice can act as a noose around one's own neck, leading to spiritual downfall.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the most beneficial death is the dissolution of the ego while still inhabiting the physical body. One who manages to 'die' to their false identity and pride before the physical end achieves a state of timelessness, becoming immortal through union with the Eternal Truth.

Meaning: Do not be deceived by the stillness of a corpse into believing that liberation or peace has been attained. A true seeker remains vigilant and conscious of spiritual peril as long as the breath persists within the physical frame, for the struggle against ego exists only while life remains.

Meaning: As long as the attachment to the physical body persists, one cannot achieve true liberation, remaining trapped even in the face of death. Real freedom is attained only when one renounces the illusions of the body, the material world (Maya), and the flickering mind, thereby expanding into the vast, eternal resonance of the Absolute Truth.

Meaning: Kabir suggests that a seeker should remain like a dead person while still alive, meaning one must completely renounce expectations from the world and other people. When a devotee places absolute trust in the omnipotent Sadguru as their sole protector, they are liberated from all worldly sorrows and mental anguish.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that when the five senses and the sixth element—the mind—are brought into perfect equilibrium and aligned with the Eternal Truth, the seeker transcends worldly turbulence. In this state of profound integration, the external world loses its power to disturb, as the 'seven knots' of ego, attachment, and ignorance are untied, leading to absolute liberation and inner stillness.

Meaning: Kabir questions why one should mourn for a soul that has died and returned to its eternal home. Instead, he suggests that true grief should be reserved for those unfortunate souls who, though physically alive, are wandering lost in the marketplace of worldly illusions, having sold their spiritual essence for transient desires.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that true peace is attained only when the individual's ego and the sense of 'I' are completely annihilated, and one surrenders the false prestige of the world. Just as burning down a house plagued by constant strife ends the conflict, burning the 'house' of the ego is the only way to achieve spiritual liberation.

Meaning: Kabir declares that he has set fire to the house of his ego and worldly attachments. Holding the torch of spiritual illumination, he invites those who possess the courage to incinerate their own illusory dwellings of 'I' and 'Mine' to join him on the path toward the ultimate, formless Truth.
