Meaning: Just as the darkness of the night is instantly dissolved upon the rising of the sun, the realization of the 'Saar Shabd'—the Essential Word or the primordial vibration of Truth—eradicates all karmic burdens and the illusions of worldly existence from the seeker's consciousness.

Meaning: Kabir suggests that when he weighed all the flavors and experiences of worldly existence using the scale of 'Sahaj' (natural spontaneity/spiritual equilibrium), he discovered that amidst all diverse tastes, there is one supreme essence—the 'rasa' of the tongue, symbolizing the divine name or inner consciousness—which can only be articulated by one who has truly realized it.

Meaning: Kabir observes that most people speak impulsively, uttering whatever comes to mind without any conscious reflection or deliberation. Such uncontrolled speech inflicts deep wounds upon the souls of others, as words spoken without thought act like a sharpened sword, severing emotional bonds and piercing the heart.

Meaning: The Divine Word (Shabd) does not practice discrimination nor does it observe social hierarchies; it flows with an absolute and unbiased intensity. Once an individual recognizes their own true essence and the inherent divinity within, the formal, external roles of 'teacher' and 'student' dissolve, giving way to a shared state of enlightened being.

Meaning: Kabir exhorts the seeker to search for the Eternal Word (Shabd) and anchor it within the consciousness. This internal alignment is the essence of 'Sahaj Yoga'—the natural union. He asserts that only the Truth-Word is the actual essence of the self, while the physical body is a fleeting, illusory vessel.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that within the human tongue resides a potency akin to divine nectar. If one understands the true essence and sanctity of speech, their words possess the transformative power to neutralize the deepest poisons of suffering and hatred in others, bringing profound healing and peace.

Meaning: Kabir asserts that those who recognize the essence of the 'Shabd' (the primordial sound or ultimate truth) within themselves and place unwavering faith in it, transcend their lower instincts. Just as a crow sheds its base nature to become a swan, the seeker overcomes the illusions of the material world to attain spiritual liberation.

Meaning: Kabir urges us to speak with utmost mindfulness and restraint. Though words possess neither hands nor feet to physically strike, their impact is profound and enduring. A single compassionate word can act as a healing balm for a wounded soul, whereas a single harsh utterance can inflict a psychic wound deeper and more permanent than any physical injury.

Meaning: The True Guru teaches that the 'Shabd' (the Divine Word or inner vibration) is the ultimate guide, while the physical body is governed by its own inherent nature. By consistently devoting oneself to this inner Word, a seeker aligns their physical existence with the eternal truth.

Meaning: Kabir declares that the spiritual discourse and the 'Shabd' (Divine Word) he imparts are keys to liberation. If a seeker accepts these teachings with the humility of a saint and contemplates them deeply, Kabir promises to facilitate their union with the 'Kant'—the Divine Beloved or the Eternal Soul.
