अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि इस नश्वर शरीर पर विश्वास करना व्यर्थ है क्योंकि यह किसी भी क्षण नष्ट हो सकता है। जीवन की अनिश्चितता को देखते हुए, एकमात्र सार्थक प्रयास यह है कि प्रत्येक श्वास के साथ परमात्मा का स्मरण किया जाए, क्योंकि इसके अतिरिक्त अन्य सभी प्रयास निरर्थक हैं।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that placing trust in the physical body is futile, as it can perish in a mere instant. Given the profound fragility and unpredictability of existence, the only meaningful endeavor is to maintain a constant remembrance of the Divine with every single breath, for no other effort holds ultimate value.

A temple made of gold is useless and should be discarded if it lacks the illuminating wisdom of a true spiritual teacher. Material opulence is meaningless without inner awakening.

Meaning: Kabir observes that the world is preoccupied with the mechanical act of counting beads on a rosary, yet the inner turmoil and psychological distortions of the mind remain untouched. Meaning: Kabir observes that humans immerse themselves in external rituals and physical acts of devotion, counting beads on their fingers while the mind wanders aimlessly in all directions. The Divine, whom they seek externally, resides within, but because the heart has become as rigid and insensitive as a piece of wood due to ego and hypocrisy, the seeker remains blind to the internal truth.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब मनुष्य का शरीर, मन और वाणी पूरी तरह स्थिर हो जाते हैं, और उसकी स्मृति तथा वैराग्य भी अडिग हो जाते हैं, तब वह व्यक्ति जन्म-मृत्यु के अंतहीन चक्र और समय के बंधन से पूरी तरह मुक्त हो जाता है।

अर्थ: संसार में ईश्वर के करोड़ों नाम प्रचलित हैं, लेकिन केवल बाहरी तौर पर उन नामों का जाप करने से वास्तविक मुक्ति नहीं मिलती। मुक्ति उस 'आदि नाम' या मूल शब्द के गुप्त और आंतरिक जप से प्राप्त होती है, जिसे बहुत कम लोग जानते हैं या अनुभव कर पाते हैं।

Meaning: In this world, there are millions of names attributed to the Divine, yet the mere external recitation of these names does not grant liberation. True liberation comes from the secret, internal vibration of the 'Aadi Naam'—the Primordial Sound—which only a rare few truly realize and practice.
